Nice and clean. Room was large and very nice. Would 100% recommend.

Liked everything. Staff was kind and helpful.

Disappointed! Cons: We are a family of 4, reserved a room with 2 queen beds and a pull out couch. There was no bedding or pillows in our room for the pullout couch. The bathroom door (room 316) was installed at an angle and doesn’t even latch because the hardware doesn’t align when closed so we couldn't properly secure the door while using the bathroom. The shower-wall mounted container of body wash and conditioner were both empty (shampoo was almost full) and only a single Kleenex in the box with no spare box. Used the fitness room and could see sweat dried on the equipment but the container of sanitizer wipes in the fitness room was empty so I went to the front desk to ask for a bottle of wipes to replace it with but I was told they didn’t have any. We stayed 3 nights and on the 2nd day I was in the shower and the cleaning staff used a key card to swipe their way into our room, freaking out my kids. My son kept telling me it was “scary!” We had the “do not disturb” door hanger affixed to the handle in the hallway so I went to the front desk to speak to them about why that happened and the male at the desk apologized and said he’ll speak to the staff and remind them not to enter rooms that have the door hanger. Pros: the front desk staff is friendly and we appreciated the continental breakfast.

The warmth of the building and accommodations Pool was a bit small and wish there was a hot tub

staff was awful, from check-in to needing a pillow case for the sofa bed in our room, to having to deal with the manager. never had a bad experience at a hotel with staff- it was so bad!! sorry for checking in at 10pm, we were on the road. so awful to inconvenience the person getting PAID to work by needing her to actually work. had to talk to the manager on an unrelated topic the next day and he was also a very unkind person. definitely will not go back. can't say I've had this poor of an experience at a hotel before. There's plenty of hotels around, 100% will not be giving them my money again. very unfortunate how poor the customer service is.

Good 👍 everything

Passing through Duluth and found this Gem. Very clean, breakfast was good, beds and pillows very good. Parking was easy and only 10 minute drive to Canal park. Price was very good for this place
-
The hotel was terrific, however the breakfast buffet both days we were there was constant crowded and sparse. They seemed to have trouble keeping enough food in there and they didn’t open the wall to the bigger bar space until nearly 9 on the second day.

The lamp in Room 206 does not work.

Clean comfortable beds and room. Pillow firmness choices! Liked historic area photo decor. Excellent, included breakfast choices. Friendly, helpful staff! Great attached restaurant - delicious food. We would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was great. Rooms were clean and comfy. Only prob is is with the restaurant group Wissota Chop House. I have been to a few of these around the state and their wine lists are terrible with meh branded wines and food is over priced for the quality. I have been in the hospitality business for 25 years and when you deal with one distributor for your wine your wine list definitely suffers. Its too bad because they get the hotel right but food and drink part wrong. Breakfast was bad too. Need a new F&B group at your properties.

I loved the pillow options and the bed was comfortable. We loved watching the fireworks from our room.
