Reviews

- one of the rooms was right opposite the laundry with laundry machines running overnight (noisy) - one room had no shampoo and conditioner - access cards stopped working at 10 am while the check out time was 11:00am. - the phones in the room were not working Staff was not very helpful in resolving these issues When asked for manager, told not available and no follow up done ( despite various request for contact) Stay away from this place.

Hotel and rooms were clean. Breakfast was too basic. Ate elsewhere.
-
The room was pretty decent but the pool was closed which was a bummer.
-
Our room had stained sheets and comforters, the TV did not turn on at all, and the shower had stains. Hair was left over in the bathtub. The room was also set to 77 degrees and we could not change it; my friend and I had to sleep without covers. I also have what looks to be a bedbug bite on my hand. Would not recommend as it was dirty, poorly maintained and possibly bedbug infested.

Would visit again.

Gothic is an old property that is definitely showing its age the staff was great and very helpful the breakfast was great if all you want is a waffle and have an hour to wait (it was quite busy when we were there)our room had a smell that not very pleasant we needed the laundry facilities and they were borderline scary not to mention the used condom on floor

For the prize it was ok .
-
There was no "breakfast" or lounge/ bar but other than that, it was a motel stay.
-
Room was clean and just as described. Great service from front desk.
-
Kinda not clean super nice front desk people. No pool. Bad breakfast.
-
Clean quiet room.

The facility and rooms were well cleaned but there is an HVAC/ ventilation issue. The main issue that we would want addressed before staying again is that the rooms do not smell fresh-- windows cannot be opened and the rooms smell musty and like mildew. This was a beautiful hotel probably 50 years ago and has so much potential if they leaned into the retro potential. The HVAC/ ventilation issue though is critical,

The clerk at the desk was very friendly, but in today’s age, they did not accept tap pay so I had to wait for my daughter to come down to use her credit card. Once we get into the room, all the furniture was completely loaded with dust you could literally write your name in it. There was God knows what on the dust truffles. The wall had looks like blood on it all of the lampshades were either burnt stained or ripped. When we went down for breakfast, the coffee wasn’t working. The were out of everything. It took them a while to replenish. It was just a very disappointing experience
-
It’s an older hotel however it was clean and staff were helpful.
-
Hotel sucio desde el lobby, las alfombras con manchas, las cortinas del barro algo adherido. El desayuno gratuito es mejor comprar en un 7Eleven, cereal, pan cuadrado añejo. El personal poco atento; una estrella le queda corto.

Room was not clean there was a bad smell in the room. There was like 3 life bugs in the tub so I wash them down with water so I did not have a shower. No pool. Breakfast was not good. I will never stay there again
-
Not my first time here. For an aging facility, it was very well maintained, clean, and comfortable. Vastly superior to similar price range places.
-
The bed had definitely seen better days and the sheets had stains on them. The staff were plesent enough. You get what you pay for, this place was cheap and quiet.
-
Staff were great upon arrival and check in. Didn’t see anybody at the desk upon check out. Room was clean with brand new equipment. Parking was good. The breakfast could use more of an upgrade for the amount of money per night. I’ve stayed at other places that charge around the same or less and have had a full buffet breakfast and a pool available for guest. A microwaveable breakfast sandwich, bagels, toast and waffles are your options. Along with yoghurt cups and cereal. This wasn’t a bad experience but I’ve had way better for more AND less money. Other than that it was pretty good.

Lights didn’t work, jacuzzi leaked all night
