Enjoyed the common area with rocking chairs with an excellent view Mt McKinley in Denali and a wonderful wood burning fireplace. The decor is beautiful. Would stay there agin if I ever come back to Alaska !

Despite a grouchy older lady behind the counter at check-in, I won’t let her ruin the review of the hotel itself. It is beautiful, the view of Denali is amazing and the room was great. The bed was very comfy. The hotel sits off the main road so it’s very quiet. We were asked at check-in if we wanted a wake-up call if the Northern Lights were out and we said yes. At 2:45am, we got the call and got some amazing photos! There’s a restaurant, coffee shop and gift shop inside the hotel. We would definitely stay here again!

Hotel is extremely overpriced. Walls are thin which meant the hallway, along with the room next to mine were a bit noisy. At this price you would expect breakfast. There are cheaper options in Talkeetna.

This was a wonderful location. The Free shuttle into town was greatly appreciated and the staff was very nice.

Ask the front desk to put you on an Aurora wake up call. If there is an Aurora they will wake you up at 1:30am or so and you can see the northern lights from the deck with Mt Denali in the distance.

Spectacular view! And gorgeous lodge. Only wish we could have had a mountain view room.

This is a beautiful facility, as nice as many of the 5-star places I have stayed in the lower 48. The rooms were very clean and very well-appointed. As fans of coffee we really appreciated the Nespresso machines in each room. We had a great dinner at the main restaurant there and joined the “30% club” with a beautiful view of Denali from our table. The staff were polite and attentive. It’s a short drive to downtown Talkeetna and self-parking (which I greatly prefer to valet parking) is easy and plentiful.

Beautiful lodge and viewing platform of Denali. Only disappointment was the fitness center. Pretty sparse.

What an outstanding stay; great staff, excellent building and layout, clean rooms, comfy beds, Nespesso coffee in the room & the clear skies gave us a million dollar view of Denali! Loved the breakfast buffet too and our server, Ms Jody, was warm & friendly; it was a perfect morning. Thank you!
