Talkeetna Hideaway

The room was quite clean and comfortable. A little small for the luggage we had. Chase was an excellent manager for the hostel type of lodging facility. Kitchen was well stocked, clean and modern.

Bed covet was torn at some places

It is comfortable and has all the amenities. The whole place is also clean and tidy, including the bathrooms.

Very quite great location Without car no cabs or shuttle. We had to pull suitcases from train to this lodge for almost 1 mile. Owner did provide two driver but both unavailable. Owner did find a return driver back to train station.

Very relaxing. Coming to the place- the road was very much like a rumble strip. Not their fault, but needs to be grated.

Very clean and welcoming accommodation! We had a room with shared bathroom and common spaces which were spotless and well thought out - there were even free snacks and free laundry! Great clear communication prior to arrival by owner. Easy walk to a very cool town and ten minutes drive from the main Denali Brewery. Loved this area and guesthouse and hope to be back soon! Tons of mosquitos in Talkeetna in the summer but obviously not their fault. Bring spray and nets if you're impacted

The place was wonderful. The most comfortable bed. The seclusion was amazing and restful. Wish it hadn't rained while we were there. Could have enjoyed the outdoors more and had a fire to sit around.

I only met one staff member face-to-face, the housekeeper, and he was friendly. I thanked him for keeping the entire property so clean. Although I didn't meet Chase in person, he sent clear instructions on how to access my room and how to use the property. I prefer a slightly firmer bed, but it was comfortable and I slept well. Overall, Talkeetna Hideaway exceeded my expectations.

This guesthouse was very clean & quiet. The first photo on Booking.com shows an entrance that looks like an in-law unit. This is actually a HOSTEL type accommodation.

It was so clean!! Great location and very quiet

The kitchen was well stocked and nice to have available The room was incredibly small with a sign telling guests not to eat or drink on the bed. Only one nightstand and one chair. Where were we supposed to eat or drink? It wasn’t walkable to anything especially with the muddy streets.

Great location, walking distance to downtown. Kitchen well equipped, nice rooms and house. Awesome!

This was our first experience in a guest house and it was very clean and guests were friendly that we interacted with. Guest check in was easy and the host was easy to connect with if needed.
