Talkeetna Inn

We had a great stay here while visiting Talkeetna. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and located in a quiet part of town, which made it easy to relax after a day of exploring. We felt safe throughout our stay and appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. A great option for anyone looking for a simple, comfortable place to stay in Talkeetna.

This was a great place to stay the night in Talkeetna. The location is very close to the Susitna River and the Main Street. The rooms were small but had everything we needed. The place was very clean and staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again!

It was surprisingly a great place to stay while traveling to Denali. Rooms were very clean, spacious, newly built with all the right amenities. Bar was a great bonus which was open until 2am.

The Inn is sparklingly clean, but it is quite dated. New carpeting/ flooring would be great. The location, though, is perfect. Staying right in Talkeetna allowed everyone in our group of 8 to do their own thing....we could walk everywhere! Proximity to the water and direct views of the "big three" made this hotel perfect for us.

The Rooms get a bit stuffy and there seems to be Electrical issues.

The room was small, but adequate. The hotel was a bit off the main tourist road, so it was peaceful. We had a good view. There is a nice lounge. It was close to all the gift shops and restaurants, but far enough away to be quiet. All in all, it was quaint, quiet, clean, friendly, and well maintained. I would stay here again.

Property has everything you need for few days stay. Close to river with breathtaking views.

Staff were amazing! The room was so tiny though and the walls were paper thin.

Neat and nice but small rooms with low-quality beddings. Minimal furniture. No closet to hang any garments. Coffee/tea maker and refrigerator in the room. Walkable to small commercial area with restaurants.

Check-in was not any problem but would help if the person at the reception is a bit more warm and receptive towards the guests .

Our group of six enjoyed our stay here! The staff was so welcoming and helpful, and they were ready at the train station to pick us up and gave us a ride back when we left. The location was great — the river was nearby with views of Denali and the shops, restaurants, and historical sites were all within easy walking distance. We would stay here again.

You get a bug zapper. They also play bingo at 7 o’clock, but you must be 21+ to play. Beds are comfortable and clean. Great walking distance to the downtown area. Right next to the river.

Highly recommend.

Could use a mirror in the main bed area for convenience close to electrical outlets. I would stay here again!
