Said I can park my car there then said otherwise in person and that I had to pay

It advertised of having the best breakfast but it turned out to be the same you find in other motels: cheese omelet, sausage links, and other cold breakfast items.

Generally, it is good. But why does the hotel price drop about an hour after I make a reservation? I booked two rooms, but the price went down by about $50.

Good accommodations for the price, the AC, fridge, and TV were good, would have liked a microwave though.

I just loved the friendly desk attendant , he engaged in conversation and seemed caring

Great place

It was a good place to stay. It was clean enough, could improve a little more as I found a couple of dead flies in the floor but at least no cockroaches, other than that everything was pretty good and well maintained. Breakfast was simple but good enough, it would be good if bacon was added too as there’s people that don’t like sausage, other than that was pretty good and what I liked too was that they had sugar-free syrup for pancakes, which gives the chance to diabetic patients to enjoy the pancakes. The breakfast area was clean and organized, and the gentleman that was there while I stayed maintained everything stocked and clean, plus he was very kind and provided a good service during the breakfast. The lady that checked me in was so nice, kind and very attentive for whatever I needed as I was staying there after I had a surgery on TGH. They were other staff too that were nice as I had to go like 2 times to get my room keys changed as they stop working for no reason even that I didn’t have them with keys or cards. Overall was a good stay and a nice place, will stay again without any doubt!

reasonably priced TV was not working. after 4 people coming to try to fix it we needed a different TV. the new TV remote didn't work so then we had to get a new remote. The breakfast was out of most food including the eggs, sausage, gravy and pancakes. the man in charge was not pleasant and was in no rush to get anything out for everyone waiting in the breakfast room. I asked for decaf coffee and he shrugged and told me they don't provide decaf. the coffee was luck warm so I warmed it up in my microwave that also had issues.

The staff of this hotel is the best, very attentive and friendly people!! The room amazing, clean and very cozy

Great value for the money. It has everything you need for a short stay. Breakfast was ok. Fitness center was ok. Didn’t use the pool but looked ok. Room was spacious enough for 3 people, and perfectly equipped. Laundry was easy and efficient. Staff was friendly and helpful. Don’t expect anything to be the best ever, but it’s just perfect for the price. Id come back. -

Clean room, helpful staff. Just wish there was a microwave in the room. Other than that, the stay was enjoyable.

Pool and breakfast were great. Smoke alarm went off in the middle of the night at 5am due to low battery. Unfortunately when we called the front desk and went to the front desk no one was there for a few minutes and then instead of staff replacing battery my husband was given a random battery found hoping it would work. I couldn't fall back asleep but thankfully my kids stayed asleep. Unfortunately we had to leave early in the morning that I was unable to address this situation otherwise the property was very good

Easy check in, elevator access if needed. Clean pool, really nice people. We stayed for a week and its just a quiet area with quick access to the main road.

Hotel South Tampa & Suites was such a beautiful start to our cruise vacation. First, the employees were so kind, professional, and welcoming. That meant a lot! Next, the grounds were maintained well, and the courtyard was peaceful and serene. Then, the room layout and the beds were spacious and comfortable. I enjoyed the coffee, and although we were there a short while, we also used the refrigerator and freezer. This hotel was so comfortable and in such a great location, that we’ve decided to return to Tampa in the future to stay longer to enjoy the accommodations and city. Thanks Hotel South Tampa & Suites for giving us a reason to return! Bathrooms were smaller, but not a game changer.
