Embassy Suites by Hilton Phoenix Tempe

The staff was very kind, professional and friendly. I had an issue with the AC, and it was taken care of right away. I didn't get a chance to attend the evening reception for a drink but will next time. The breakfast bar was very good, with a variety of warm food. They even made your eggs the way you wanted, scrambled and/or otherwise, as well as omelets.

Great place, room was nice and roomy, breakfast was great, even got 2 drink tickets for the bar. Staff was very kind.

The evening snacks were the bare minimum and not even replaced, when empty. Bartender was not friendly at all.

The room was clean and they came by every day. The grounds are OK. Staff was helpful.

We stayed here for 5 days recently. Great location - 15 minutes from the airport and super close to restaurants, sightseeing, etc. I’ll start by saying the staff is EXCELLENT! The front desk staff, the housekeepers, the breakfast attendants and the bar and restaurant staff were all super friendly, very accommodating and just downright nice. The hotel itself is in desperate need of updating. Everything is well-worn, dated and old. Our room was very roomy and the bed was very comfortable. Our room was clean-ish - I think the carpet and the bathroom weren’t necessarily dirty, just old and stained. The longer we stayed, the more we noticed. The breakfast buffet is amazing! Plenty of hot and cold choices. The made-to-order omelettes are delicious. The staff, again, are over-the-top fantastic. Honestly, breakfast was the best part of our stay. Just a lovely staff. The pool looked nice, but we didn’t use it. Ample parking and a nice, complimentary happy hour everyday was a nice touch. Overall, it was a nice stay!

Exceptional

Do not be fooled by the main photo, this property is incredibly old, to get to your rooms, you must go outside into an outside elevator then walk outside in the heat with your bags. The hotels is DIRECTLY in the intersection off the freeway so the outside noise is bothersome for sure unless you are from New York. The restaurant and kitchen were closed the night I arrived but told I could contact Uber Eats…. So starving and going to wait another 40-50 minutes to have fast food delivered. Needless to say, I immediately went back down to the desk and checked out.

Some things about the hotel are old & worn. The toilets really could be taller than what you find in kindergarten, and the tub could use updating, but otherwise it's very nice. I love that there is a "living room" separate from the bedroom. It made relaxing so much easier than trying to prop myself up in bed.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The kids enjoyed the poolside and the adults enjoyed the two complimentary drinks during happy hours. It’s located in a beautiful neighborhood. Staff were friendly and recommended restaurants nearby which were great! Breakfast was included and also good.

More importantly, the walkway between our building and the main building has a significant dip just before the fountain, which was not operating during our stay. Both my travel partner and I tripped there multiple times, and she eventually fell quite hard and broke the skin on her knee. This is a safety concern that should be addressed as soon as possible to prevent someone else from being injured. Aside from these issues, we enjoyed our stay and had an otherwise positive experience.

Great team of staff from the front desk to break fast area staff, everyone is wonderful and friendly. they are seems genuinely to care about their customers.
