I believe this is the newest hotel in Thatcher, Arizona, and it was very nice and clean, obviously updated and perfect for our needs when we were dropping off our daughter for college.

My wife and I have stayed at several Safford/Thatcher hotels over the past decade and the Townplace Suites was the best experience we've ever had. The rooms were amazing, clean, and had amenities we never expected. We'll be staying there every time we come back from now on.

Super clean, staff was friendly attentive and helpful. The property is well cared for and reflects in the staff. Loved the breakfast, so much better than other establishments. Because the care and quality in evident we will always use Marriott. Great experience! Thank you!

Beautiful as it was a new build When I was trying to check out, they tried to charge my credit card again for the stay where it was already prepaid through Booking.com I hope Booking.com will reach out to them and explain that they should never be trying to charge anyone again when it’s prepaid through Booking.com. I felt that was a pretty shady practice, not honest and made me never wanna stay there again.

Excellent place to stay the only down side to this property is parking gets limited quick and had to park in another parking lot.

Breakfast was great. The room was spacious and very comfortable. I was very pleased with the cleanliness. When checking in, the clerk did not relay the breakfast information. I got to my room and later called to find out times for breakfast. The clerk did not know. They are still working on training and getting "bugs" worked out as it is so new. Even worse, I had previously booked my stay on Booking.com. When getting ready to check out, I realized that the hotel had charged me again, a little more than my previous booking. When talking to the clerk about this, she promised a refund. However, they put a refund in for the lesser price that I got on Booking.com and told me it would take 3-5 business days for the refund to appear. This was very frustrating!
