“The stay was okay overall. The room was adequate and the staff was friendly, but the hotel could use some updates and improvements. It was acceptable for a short stay, but there is room for improvement.”

The staff was wonderful and ladies cleaned the rooms well and changed bedding when requested. The lounge area was clean as well as the landing, elevator and initial entry. However, the carpets were dirty and in great need of shampoo. My daughter had allergies the entire time we stayed. Therefore, we cannot return. , until management either gets rid of carpets, or hires people to clean carpeting. We slept in very nicely made clean beds with very dirty feet if we didn’t wash them. Uncarpeted floors were always cleaned by maids. Management: pay attention! ALSO, the room needed newer lamps with multiple plugins that actually work. Replace that old style, old lamps with multiple accessory plugins. I had to carry and use my long cord to charge our electronics.

The elevator was down and had to use the stairs. It was not easy, moving luggage up and down. The elevator was down and it was not easy to make luggage up and down the stairs. Almost fell down the stairs.

Anyone employed dealing with the public needs exceptional customer service skills. I definitely think management needs to have their employees take a customer service course to better their skills to handle any/all guest complaints.

The staff promised to move me to another room while I was at Disneyland, but when I returned after midnight, nothing had been done. They gave me different excuses and left my family without a clean room. We were exhausted, traveling with children, and had no choice but to stay there. This hotel was not clean, was poorly maintained, and did not provide the service that was promised. I am very disappointed and believe I deserve a refund or appropriate compensation. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I told the front desk before I left for Disneyland that I would be back very late and asked them to move us to another room while we were gone. They said everything would be ready when I returned. However, when I came back at 12:20 a.m., they gave me a different story. They said they came to my room but no one was there, so they could not move us. That made no sense because I had already told them I would be at Disneyland all day. When I opened the door, the room had not been cleaned. There were no clean towels, and nothing had been done. My children and I were exhausted, so we had no choice 😡😡😡

I stayed on the second floor, but the noise from people walking on the floor above was extremely loud. I could also clearly hear water running in the bathroom and even babies crying, as the rooms had virtually no soundproofing. On top of that, there was an unpleasant odor in the room that was much worse than I expected. Because of these issues, I don't think I would ever stay here again. The noise made it very difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Thr room was clean but the property was very dated. Staff was nice. Breakfast was included in price. Not much of a Breakfast. Wouldn't stay here again.

Central hotel in the Torrance area. Parking can be a bit tight, especially if you arrive later in the evening. The reception is on the second floor, which is a bit odd, so you have to take all of your stuff up a kind of slow elevator. Almost all rooms are on the second and third floors. The room we had was sufficient and well-sized. We got a room at the back of the building, so it was very quiet, which was nice. The breakfast is only waffles you have to make yourself. Nothing else, so that was a bit disappointing. It's not a bad hotel, though, especially if you need something a bit cheaper in the area.
