Island Inn Beach Resort

Beautiful views from every room. Close to the water. Nice pool. Great tiki bar. Great bartenders. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Parking is terrible. Each room has different owners so every room has different beds etc, so some of our rooms had great beds some had terrible beds. We had several rooms.

Everything was perfect. Property was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful, overall just a great place to stay. Nothing that I disliked

The only things we liked about the hotel were the balcony and the beautiful ocean view. Those were the highlights of our stay I stayed at this hotel for 5 days with my sister, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Housekeeping never cleaned our room during our stay. We had to take out our own trash every day and constantly ask the front desk for trash bags, toilet paper, clean towels, and other basic necessities. This is simply unacceptable for a hotel. The bathtub was old, dirty, and clogged. Every time we took a shower, the water would back up and fill the tub halfway before slowly draining. We also found a cockroach in our room. Instead of offering to move us to another room or providing any kind of compensation, the staff simply handed us a can of bug spray and expected us to deal with it ourselves. No one apologized or showed any concern. At the very least, they should have offered us another room or some form of compensation, such as a complimentary night. Another major issue was the lack of beach towels. Every time we asked for them, we were told there were none available because they were all being washed. For a hotel near the beach, this is unacceptable. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, poor maintenance, uncomfortable beds, the cockroach in the room, and the absence of basic hotel services made this a very frustrating stay. I would not recommend this hotel, and I would not stay here again.

It was right on the beach, with a great little bar by the pool. Parking was a bit of a cluster, but we worked it out.

I love that the property was right on the beach. I also loved how clean it was. The staff was very kind and it was easy to book. You had to walk down three flights of steps to find the tiny smoking area. You could not smoke on the balcony and the trash bins were all the way on the other side of the property and it made it very difficult and not easy to access the staff really never told us where the garbage was.

The location No ice machine on our floor and no way to make ice in our fridge.

The bathroom sink did not drain and the property "fix" was to turn the pressure down to almost zero so sink did not fill up. The tub had drain issues as well. We started the week with a slow drain, by the end we contacted the front desk to ask someone to look at it. We were told we waited too long and they could not look at it. With the "fix" for the bathroom sink, they are well aware this is an issue and decided to not properly fix the problem. We had to ask to shower in another room so my husband and I could both shower before dinner. It took the tub over an hour to drain after a shower. The front desk person said she contacted the manager. It has been over 2 weeks since we left, we have not heard anything.

Had a private and local feel, it didn’t really feel like a touristy hotel. Friendly staff. Close to the beach, close to shops and restaurants

Breath taking oceanfront views. Very clean and inviting. The penthouse felt like something from a movie, it was spectacular!

We loved this place! We will be coming back here. We liked how peaceful it was and how everything was right there. There was also a cute little coffee shop down the road I enjoyed going too. The only complaint I had is that our floors weren’t cleaned prior to us checking in, but even so we did really enjoy staying here we ended up booking another night!

Love the location beautiful view, great friendly staff Unfortunately the room was disgusting it wasn’t even cleaned before my stay, there was still trash from the people who stayed there previously to me. The bed was full of sand, the toilet seat even had a dried up pee mark on it. The beds are super uncomfortable, and parking is very tiny there usually never is parking don’t be fooled by the pictures, the empty parking lot they show is not part of the hotel. You have to park across the street if you find nothing.

Location is excellent and beach is perfect. They have a beach vendor where you can rent a cabana/chairs that is reasonably price, have a cute tiki bar with reasonable prices and staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our room and had everything we needed if we wanted to cook and is located close to many excellent dining options The only thing that could have been better is the size of the refrigerator (dorm sized) limited what we could keep cold - but we just bought a small cooler for drinks

Location and staff Unit 301 had roaches and no hot water

Fabulous location. Unit was 6th floor 3 BR suite. The ocean view is spectacular. There is also an opposite view of the bay. Water views on both sides! Restaurants in walking distance. Over flow parking is great. Great tiki bar at pool. Beautiful beach. Highly recommend. The king size bed in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable. Needs to be replaced.

The door didn't seal well. You could hear people in the hallway.

Location and parking was included in price. More of a food choice at hotel.

Was just the right size for my husband and I beach was wonderful There was a slight moldy smell bathroom needs a good cleaning with Lysol

Location, and view from room 201. Red headed desk clerk was very friendly when she was there. Easy check in and out. Having to request for towels every day for showers and toting the dirty ones down every day. Chairs rentals were late every day. Had burns on feet and toes from the board walk to the beach. People were knocking on door and running No phone in the room. Crazy rules about lights due to turtles. Bed was very lumpy and cpuld feels springs.

Room 214 was nice, it did need some maintenance in the room.

The pool was nice, ocean front, room clean. We were disappointed in the water pressure in the shower. It was at a trickle every day. We did not tell the front desk because we booked thru booking.com and know the units are individually owed. Also the bathroom door frame was very rusted in the bottom and you could easily hurt your toes on it. Also we got a parking ticket. My husband had our parking pass folded in half but it was up on the driver's side front window. You could visually see the room number. He brought the parking ticket to the front office and they said, they would take care of it.
