Upon arrival, I checked into my room un packed then realized my room was not cleaned. I let the staff know they were very apologetic, sent someone up immediately to clean. Upon my return I realized coffee, toilet paper, soaps etc were never refilled called down again. Later at night my TV did not work remote was broken but I let that go. I paid ALOT of money for this Ocean front Balcony room, well it was ocean front I had a Balcony with Two huge air conditioners obstructing my ocean view. Room seemed very dated for the prices, I have stayed there before Both Sloppy Joes and Waves are excellent beach bars/restaurants and staff is very nice. Location is fantastic but I may rethink where I stay on my next visit.

The staff here have excellent customer service. The restaurants close by have excellent food and staff. We had a great week over the 4th of July. Coffee in the morning, cookies in the afternoon, bottled water anytime. Little perks that made us feel special. Thank you Bilmar. We will be back again.

We were also frustrated that we paid a $40 nightly resort fee, but this only provides you with 2 beach chairs (not loungers). If you want lounge chairs and a beach umbrella, you have to rent them for $40 from another service provider on the beach. On our second day there, the person renting the equipment didn't show up until almost 10AM, and then (while we were out getting lunch), he put our stuff on the sand and packed up the equipment because it looked as if it MIGHT rain. Other providers on the beach left their equipment up, however. So we paid $40 for about 2-3 hours of usage. Super frustrating. This provider is not affiliated with Bilmar, but it was frustrating enough that I will be sure to stay at another location that provides their own equipment.

Awesome super clean room with a stellar view of the gulf. Friendly, happy and caring staff.

The staff were excellent! They went above and beyond to help make our stay a good one. Patti, Ty for all of your help and time. You are a true example of what anyone working in the hospitality industry should strive to be. We had a great experience and will absolutely be back.

Next time we won't book a balcony room. I didn't think it's worth it. Nice convenient location. And good value.

Bilmar was even better than I expected. The staff was super friendly. The room was beautiful and clean—-they gave us a room on the top floor, with a balcony facing the ocean, which was awesome (and safer for 2 women). Pool house provided beach chairs and towels, which made it easier. The restaurant had good food. Walking distance to grocery store (Publix) and across the street from a Walgreens. Local “tips only” free taxi service. Lots of family-friendly areas, 2 pools, lovely walking path behind hotel. My only complaint is that it can get pretty noisy, between the live music at a restaurant nearby on one side, and live music in the restaurant downstairs. But everything goes silent by 11:00 pm. Great place to stay!

It was convenient and I really liked how easy it was to get to the beach. Air conditioning didn’t work good. Had to have maintenance bring us a fan. We had the temp set at 68 and it was 78 in our room. On our last day we saw a cockroach in the bathroom.
-
Nice place except when the door slam to your next-door neighbor, it shakes the whole wall. That was the main thing we did not like.
-
When I went to sleep in the room, the bed was full of sand and hair, and the sheets had not been changed.
-
Only issue I had was a slight mixup with my upgrade, this wasn't my first time at bilmar and I always enjoy myself

Good location, clean room and great staff. The additional resort fee seems unreasonable since it’s not really a resort per se. Coffee and water in the lobby is a nice touch.

We really enjoyed our stay. The view and location were great. Alittle walk to the beach. The water in the shower did not get very hotk, and the kitchen bowels were quite small and shallow. However, we enjoyed it thoroughoy, and had all the entertainment in the surrounding neighborhood.

The location is amazing, it’s so close to everything you could need during your stay as well as shops and entertainment. We had the double queen with balcony room and the view was the best that we’ve had of the beach. The rooms were spacious enough for four of us and the kitchenette was super convenient. The AC actually keeps the room cool which is a necessity after a long day on the beach and exploring St Pete. We will definitely be back!!! Everything was perfect!

It was a great stay, beach was beautiful!

They’re should be more umbrellas at the pools and also since there are 2 pools one should be for adults only and the other for families with children
