Super 8 by Wyndham Trinidad

Look at the pictures and decide for yourself if this is a non pet friendly room. Absolutely disgusting. Room 118. As soon as we looked down at the entrance to the doorway there was sooo much pet hair. We walked in and was shocked to see HAIR ON EVERYTHING! We went to the front desk to ask for another room and did not receive, she told us that it was not a pet room. Instead they gave us a broom & dustpan to sweep it up ourselves! We brought it back with so much pet hair & asked for a hair roller but they did not have so we asked for tape because the bedding was covered, especially that beige blanket. Look at the pictures. We put all of our luggage off the floor & had to wear our sandals the whole time, even in the shower. The next morning we told the front desk lady and she didn’t want to see our pictures and said she would talk to her manager. I called a couple days later to ask what they were going to do about it and the lady at the front desk was rude and said that the manager would give us $20 back if we did not give a bad review. They tried to bribe us $20 to not make a bad review instead of being professional & giving us a clean non pet friendly room or an actual refund for making US CLEAN THEIR MESS. WORST SUPER 8 EVER! Letting Wyndham know about the bad customer service we received.

Great breakfast with big selection.

Clean room. Ac a bit noisy, breakfast area way too small only 2 tables available. Not a lot choices for breakfast but ok.

My husband left a bag of my shoes and they found it, tagged it and put it up for us. They also told us how to help them get it back to us all the way in Texas! I definitely recommend this place! Rooms are pretty clean. Seems safe. Breakfast is okay.

Tony was super helpful. Facility was very clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was also good. Will stay again if in the area.

Breakfast was a microwave burrito, and a un-pealed hard boiled egg. Cereal was available. Convenient Store Danish in the wrapper like the burrito. No bottled water available, they sell that. Coffee runs out before they make more. Other than that, OK.

The ac was a little weak

Plenty of parking. The rooms were clean and appeared to be pretty newly remodeled. The only issue with the room was the lack of outlets. There was only 1 outlet by the bed that had the alarm clock plugged into it. The only other accessible outlet was next to the chair, hut there was nowhere to put devices as they were being charged.

Room was heavily perfumed (to cover tobacco stench from a previous life?) Strawberries left overnight in the refrigerator were frozen in the morning. H2O was just short of hot enough. Priced right.

Good location, property could use a good cleaning and a refresh of decor. But I would stay again.

Hotel seems to want to charge for any little fee they can think up. They didn’t charge us, but their signs in the rooms and forms you sign are a bit extreme! Also, there weren’t even trash bags in the rooms.

Room was clean and stocked. Air worked great as it was difficult to open window.

Good location. The desk clerk and booking.com were very good about canceling my non-refundable reservation, but I wasted an hour doing this at the end of a long, tiring drive. The booking.com website said "pet friendly," but the Super 8 said that they wouldn't allow cats. This meant that I had to spend an hour canceling my reservation and then find a motel that would let us stay.

Didn’t eat Homeless man wandered in unlocked rear door asking me if I had seen his friend. Friend was found outside trying to charge phone in an outlet on the side of the building.
