Travelodge by Wyndham East Portland/Gresham

It was nice. Cost too much for the laundry.

I prepaid for a standard room with two queen beds at this Travelodge. I picked this hotel and prepaid because I would be arriving late. When I arrived at 10:30 pm, the clerk checked us in to a small room with one double bed--she did not even tell us about a change to my booking. Also, the room had no functioning smoke alarm--the alarm was beeping (later the clerk "fixed" the alarm by dangling the wires from the ceiling). The shower rod was on the floor leaning against the wall with no shower curtain. The panel cover for the air conditioner was missing. The clerk said they had no more rooms with two double beds and she could not give me a refund--I would have to take it up with Expedia. To top it off, the clerk was surly and rude. They provided an uncomfortable roll-away bed that barely fit in the room. We were too tired to leave, but I would never book this property again.

I liked the Comfortable beds and the cool pictures all over the walls of the hotel. I liked that after checking the staff never hesitated to be helpful. I didn't like that the check in process took a long time. I had already paid ahead of time for my stay and they had a hard time figuring that out. The room smelled pretty bad and the carpet looked really dirty. Some carpet cleaning highly recommend.

The elderly lady at the front desk had a poor attitude and was not welcoming. Additionally, there were many homeless individuals in the surrounding area, which negatively impacted our overall experience.

Dirty wall, doors, bathroom& microwave. No iron available. Rooms smells musty. New furniture needs AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

The cleaning staff were very helpful and accommodating to get us settled into a room. The front desk person failed to ask if we preferred to be on the 1st floor. Both of us have disabilities and we're challenged to climb the stairs. No elevator at this facility. Initially given a room that was already occupied. Scared both us and the other person. When we did get a different room the key failed to work. Ice machine only on the first floor. Only three outlets in the room none of which were by the table for computer work. Insufficient hot water for the shower. Not a good experience all the way around. Only the cleaning staff went out of their way to assist us.

The bathroom door did not close all the way about a one inch gap all around, it smelled shower curtain had a hole in it, the water went straight through shower curtain all over floor. Air conditioner was great. There was an unidentifiable odor on the room. I paid over 100.00 and it was definitely not worth 100.00 the staff when I checked in was cold and not nice. The gentleman there in the morning as very pleasant.

I like the close proximity to a Walmart Superstore and other businesses. There aren't enough rooms that accommodate availability of streaming channels.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. No hot water one morning. Took a freezing cold shower.

Staff at the Troutdale Travelodge is outstanding. They are exceptionally and reliably patient, sympathetic, and flexible. I’d compare this hotel to the Marriott in Little Italy, San Diego that is huge and well-located for tourism but the staff was nasty and repulsive such that I would recommend staying away. There were plumbing problems while I stayed here and I would have liked more calls such as the first time that they had to turn off water temporarily. Much more and pleasanter communication than Little Italy Marriott or Motel 6 in Chula Vista, CA or Motel 6 in Gresham, OR — I’ve experienced a range of accommodations and been MOST AT EASE HERE.

Entire place smelled like marijuana, bad body odor and the room smelled like dog urine. The bed was comfortable but everything else was so gross. There are shady people walking around the place and hanging out up front. People are smoking cigarettes just outside the entry door that leads into the rooms. The bathroom was disgusting and we couldn't even shower. We turned the water on and it can out a yellowish color.

looks like the hotel its getting remodelingso hopefully get done the rooms not only the lobby, room looks to old but a least the bed its ok and smell like clean liners, they offert coffe but a 9 AM coffe its from nigth before and not creamers

This is my second stay at this hotel. Great price.

The room seemed to be clean.The morning check out clerk was personable. The check in clerk was rude. The room was very small with little room for our luggage. The bathroom was outdated and we didn't feel comfortable showering there.
