Studio 6 Suites Tucson, Az – Airport / Kino Sports Complex

This motel is one of our favorite stops when I travel to and from Texas-California. The room and bathroom were very clean. Bed quality is nice and firm, but also soft. For older people with back problems, it makes a huge difference. Nice working mini fridge, microwave, and TV. Their ice machine works well, which I love cause I travel with food. The towels were very tiny, but for only $64 in the summer of 2026, I really cant complain. I would say it was well worth every penny and I would definitely recommend this motel for anyone traveling on a budget.

The hall to the room was littered with trash, the sheets, towels and linens were all dingy and stained. I woke up in the middle of the night to a bathroom full of roaches.

The room door was open when we walked up, but the room was clean. The area didn't seem very nice. There was a lot of people around that look like they were up to no good.

Easy parking

I was placed in the wrong room for one night in which was not up to par. I was too tired to argue my point. The walls had many little holes in the room I was wrongfully placed in which had me concerned being that I am a young woman that stayed the 1st night alone. The actual room I later found on my own I was supposed to be in was clean and up to par. I do not understand how my key was to the wrong room but the paperwork work and writing on the key holder was to the correct room. Felt as if it could've been a purposeful, "Mistake." I tried to cancel staying the second night only to be hung up on multiple times. I will never stay there again.

Nice staff ,clean room ,nice view ! Tv hdmi cord was in room so wasn’t able to watch tv until the next day! Not having a tub for my to toddlers baths .

Did not have breakfast provided. There was minimal options. The room was adequate enough. Saw a roach in the bathroom. Towels provided smelled bad and there was only enough for one person to use. We left a day early but were never refunded the 4 night.

The rooms weren’t too bad. The whole place smelled pretty bad. The WiFi was terrible/bordeling unusable.

The door locks look like they have been repaired several times and it didn't look secure. People were screaming and swearing late at night. I could smell cigarettes and marijuana in the hallways that was coming from the guest rooms. I was there almost a week and no one came to clean the room. I would only recommend this place if it was just overnight to catch a flight.

Holes in the walls, broken TV remote, unfriendly staff, no breakfast for people in the "suites". The bed was very uncomfortable. Miserable.

The staff are very friendly however the property has roaches. Many common areas like stairwells are not kept clean. Pile of wood leaning against building near front entrance. Drywall repairs in lobby are unpainted. Old appliances in otherwise decent looking rooms.

Avoid this place! Walked in to lobby and it looked like everything was falling apart and like it hasn’t been maintained. As soon as we opened the room, didn’t even turn on the lights, we saw 5 roaches! Literally walked three feet into the room, turned around and got back in the car. I asked for a refund and the guy at the front desk asked for pictures of the roaches, I told him to go check himself and he immediately changed his tone and said oh, it’s for my manager so I can explain the refund.

No housekeeping and lack of shampoo in room

Well the property was not what was advertised. By the airport for sure though. It’s a sketchy area with a vacant lot next door housing some many homeless folks. Not the worry. The worry was the others traveling through. Nothing happened but damn not as advertised. The property was advertised as a 4 star cool place with awesome reviews. No way. It was under construction the back door was broken because of dry rot not kidding. They had a hand written sign saying please close the door softly. Cool not cool. Anyway it smelled horrible like cleaner everywhere like someone died they were trying mask. It happens. But damn bad location bad vibes bad place frankly. Don’t stay.

Location of motel. This Studio 6 charges a deposit of $100 for any possible damage to the room.. Well make sure you read their little sign at their front desk at check in. My partner was screwed out of our deposit twice. Apparently they keep your deposit if you request a late check out & also if you file a complaint about roaches coming into the room thru the bathroom ceiling that had prior water damage that wasn't repaired.. Be prepared to be 86 as well if you file a complaint or bad review. I would stay very far away from this place! Front desk staff was very rude.
