Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort and Spa

We loved the rooms, staff, comfortable and large bed, breakfast, scenery, and trail. Pools are hot tub were a bonus but we ran out of time.

Also, I rented two poolside rooms and the phones did not work the entire time we were there. Various staff members came to try and fix it, but could not figure out what was the matter with the phones and said it would take a special technician. They left word with the office about this, but the office never contacted me or said anything. In addition room 117 was occupied by our children and they had to call late at night for towels because there were none in the room. Also, the couple who had been staying in the two rooms, packed up their suitcases and left them on the patio for hours. We were sitting on the balcony at the restaurant, watching as the previous guest who use the room continue to use the patio and then moved all of their belongings to chairs right in front of our balcony and the pool. When we asked how long their stuff was going to be there they acted insulted & were not cooperative at all. We love the location and the atmosphere and environment of the Westward look resort. As the director of state agency I held conferences there.

Very nice staff, Great views and peaceful place. Some of the out outdoor areas and room need minor maintenance, but other than that it was great and relaxing.

Loved the private balcony. So quiet and peaceful

We went to the resort for our 25th anniversary and we had a lovely time. The couples massage was wonderful and the on-site restaurant had terrific food and even better drinks. We would love to return someday for another stay.

We were welcomed the moment we got there. The staff are all so positive and friendly. We were there celebrating our 3 year anniversary. We stayed in a suite with the closed patio and hot tub. The room and patio were decorated so cute. I highly recommend staying there, the only minor issue I had was the hot tub at our room wouldn't go above 95°. The hot tub by the pool was perfect though. It was a great experience and we will do it again next year!!

The hotel grounds are beautiful and very tranquil; the desk staff, restaurant staff and room service staff were very friendly and professional. My only complaints are that the house keeping staff did not clean our room. We stayed for two nights and didn't get our room cleaned while there. Out of fairness to this staff, we did have a "Do not disturb" sign until 10:00 AM our first morning. But we expected staff to eventually come to clean. We also have an issue with our bill and have left two messages for the accounting department. It has been almost one week since the first message and no one has bothered to return our call.

Room needed fridge & microwave- (fridge at a minimum). Buttons to call front desk, room service, spa on room phone not going to right area - or said closed when they were not. Would also be great to have an airport shuttle. They had a shuttle for five mile radius trips, which was great, but not always available.

It was amazing!

We stayed in a junior suite which had plenty of room. It was right by the pool, so it was a quick walk to go for a swim. We like that it is quiet and in a great location close to restaurants, Walgreens, and Safeway. Everything we needed was less than a 5 minute drive away. We love this property and have stayed here on our visits to Tucson since our wedding night almost 20 years ago. However, the property is starting to show its age on the exterior and is in desperate need of repair. The roofs need repairs, and we noticed termite tubes on several of the buildings (including ours - Building 35, Room 314 has a big termite tubes right outside the front door and tubes peeking up from the brick walkways). We love this property and want to continue visiting for years to come.
