Almara Inn

It will be better after it’s finished the room was cool and clean. The room had no smoke alarm the clock was held up in the wall sconce. The shower was tiny and the bathroom counter corner was to large hit my head on the towel rack while using the toilet. The vintage car out front was cool. No one to great you you called a phone number at 4:45 pm and when I checked out no one there at 9:30 am very trusting place. Needs work

The bed was clean & good location for the price it was ok. No one at front desk on arrival around 4:00pm or departure the next morning. First room was not clean so I was moved. Second room better but had long black hair in bathroom & I’m blond with short hair.

Clean, comfortable, and pet friendly

This is a nice vintage hotel along Route 66. Our check-in was easy and the room was quaint. We'll worth a stay. The restaurant next door had wonderful Mexican food as well!

Amazing historical Route 66 beautiful hotel

We have stayed at this hotel several time and always enjoyed our stay. I don’t know if they changed the pillows but they were Way to puffy and caused neck muscle strain. That was the only complaint. Other wise it’s a great place, reasonably priced and very friendly people! We will use them again!!

Comfortable and clean

No amenities worked and the restaurant was expensive

This property was a terrible disappointment. The pictures show a nice little motel on Route 66. The pictures are not updated and do not really depict the current look. We wanted to stay on Route 66 and thought it looked like a "vintage stay". Our room was not ready, even though it was later in the day. There was no room number on the door, and they just pointed to it after giving us the key. I tried to go ask a question several times and could not find anyone in the office after we checked in. When we checked out, again there was no one available, and I had to leave my key on the desk. Once we got on the road, I realized I had left my neck pillow and called several times to ask if I could stop and pick it up on our way back home to Texas. No answer, of course, but I left messages. Never heard back from anyone. Very dissappointing. I certainly would not reccommend the Almara Inn.

Floor could use better cleaning, left bare feet blackened.

The people running to food concession on site were very nice!! The door didn’t feel very safe. The tv was too low or too small to see when lying in bed. There were minimal bedside lights and/or places to plug in devices. There was no tub.

It did the job, at a great price. I slept really well. No one was at the desk. I called all the numbers and most didn't answer. Turned out okay. Just kind of weird.

Incredible hospitality service to every person that comes to this property, loved that they have karaoke for the guests that stay here from Thursday-Sunday. I loved everything about this property and much more to do than what I was expecting and does a lot more as well.

Check in was odd via a Nest camera, but the room was clean. Out of the several inexpensive Motels that we have stayed in Tucumcari, it was the best so far.

The location is on historic Route 66 and it was like stepping back in time. It was great! The room was clean and comfortable. I don't think this property serves breakfast. I wish it would have. I liked everything. The only thing would have been to have breakfast served at the property. It was great to "step back in time" at this motel. There is so much history here!!

No problems with wi-fi. Temperature control worked well on a hot June day. No problems with noise. Good location, with a restaurant right next door. Room on the small side, with limited desk space. Not many electrical outlets—this motel was built before we all needed to charge lots of electronics.

It was in the old part of town near a restaurant Really run down. Lost its nostalgia and retro charm. The room we had was tucked away in a corner (106). Everything just looked old and worn out. The sheets didn’t fit well because they lost all elasticity. Don’t really like old spring mattresses, and that is what they have. The pillows are also a bit lumpy and one wad super firm with way too high of a loft. The front desk was nice and helpful. The reception area was a bit cluttered.

Reservation was cancelled at the last minute by the motel due to room being worked on and had to find other accommodations last minute.
