overall ok When we checked in they said we didn't have 2nd room, that booking.com hadn't sent 2nd code even though I had receipt for 2 rooms.. front desk said I had to call booking.com to straighten out . 30 minutes on hold, booking.com said it was hotel's fault. Very upset that at 10 o'clock at night we had to wait almost an hour to get checked in.

The staff strived to provide a nice breakfast. When you have a week or more stay, it can be pretty boring. The room was ok. Nothing special. The people there were very nice and tried hard to please.

The breakfast is by far better than most continental breakfasts. The rooms are a good size & very clean. Have stayed here for two years for a local conference & will stay again.

There is no separation between the beds and the couch/sitting area, which made it hard for our son to go to sleep with us sitting and reading and needing lights on. The pillows of the couch were not on the couch when we got into the room and we found out the couch was broken. We needed help adjusting it to where we could at least comfortably sit on it. Staff was very helpful with this. There was a party after 10 pm in the pool that kept our son awake, staff tried to take care of it but it took a while.

We booked an accessible king studio because Hilton’s own website stated the room included a sofa bed and advertised that it slept four (or five depending on which part of the listing you read). The room we received had one king bed and a regular couch that did not convert into a bed. To the hotel’s credit, one of the supervisors immediately recognized the issue and found another room with an actual sofa bed. Unfortunately, the front desk handled it very poorly. Rather than trying to help, we were told we had to contact Booking.com because that’s where we booked. When I tried explaining that the room didn’t match Hilton’s own description, I was interrupted and told, “I’m not going to argue with you.” After about 25 minutes on the phone with Booking.com, the hotel switched us into the room we should have had from the beginning. The disappointing part wasn’t the room change. It was the customer service. A simple apology and a willingness to own the situation would have completely changed the experience. A few additional notes: • Small bathrooms with noticeably lower ceilings. • Slippery lobby entrance because the floor was being mopped during check-in. • If you’re booking an accessible room because you need a sofa bed for your family, I would call the hotel beforehand and confirm exactly what room features you’ll be getting. Hopefully Hilton updates its room descriptions so future guests aren’t put in the same situation.

Great and clean stay. Friendly employees. Enjoyed the pool. We had to leave by 6:45 so wish the breakfast would have been available earlier than 7 AM, but overall loved it

Location A little pricey

On the downside, my room nightstand had a random electrical fire start in the charging port in the first week, which the smell filled the room and carried into the hallway and the door had to be left ajar. While trying to enjoy the pool for the just the 2nd time, there was an incident in the pool in which a child got cut on the ladder inside the pool and bled profusely. Then my room kitchenette’s microwave went out when I went to utilize it and was unable to be replaced for the remainder of my 3 1/2 days left out of 14, no portable option. After the microwave malfunction, a representative asked to SEE if I could move to a different room no guarantee on the same floor(3)and I had myself and two children belongings along with a full fridge of food. Strangely, they denied any compensation and denied a late checkout on day of because they didn’t know if there would be any availability, so I was instructed to ask the morning of. Morning of- I revisited and asked again and they denied me with the reasoning that I booked my extended lengthy stay through a 3rd party site and thus late check option is not an option for us. I had left 3 messages for Kristy V, manager, with no return call. A different rep said she attempted to call after hangup but O the phone NEVER worked. During the fire I used my cell to call the front for help! Yep, that was our stay at Homewood suites at Hilton.Godspeed

I got one cockroach in the kitchen.

Friendly staff, plenty of breakfast options, rooms stocked well and clean! Pool was closed for various reasons during our stay (chemical imbalance and reports of people cutting their feet at the bottom).
