Motel 6 Tumwater, WA - Olympia

Traffic noise constant. Parking limited. Tv did not work. Heat-cool unit roared like diesel truck idling. Odd people hanging around parking lot. Night check in clerk looked like a bike.

It was functional

The room was to be non-smoking yet there was a cigarette smoke odor with stained curtains by the door. I was happy to have a room so i dealt with it. I mentioned it to staff at check out. There is an additional charge on my card of $97.49 that i have to follow up on. JJ.

Management stressed over and over no cannabis on the property but the parking lot had crumpled foils so evidently fentanyl is ok. The room was filthy and smelled so strong of cat pee that we had to buy air fresheners and carpet spray.

Good for the price I would revisit.

The room was dirty upon arrival. I had to clean it myself and had to change the bedding as well. The shower and the toilet were dirty. People in the office were horrible rude.

My stay was amazing and easy.

The sink in my room had no running water. I was told that there was nothing that they could do about it.

Everything especially the staff. The price was reasonable, it was located very close to everything I was needing to get to, and the room was very clean. I definitely will return. Nothing

The room itself appeared to be updated; however, I noticed a stain on my sheets. Rather than requesting new bedding, I used the blankets and pillow I keep in my vehicle for travel. As a sports parent who frequently travels with my kids for tournaments, I always have these items on hand. The rooms do not include a fridge or microwave, which was a bit inconvenient, although there is an ice machine and microwave available for guest use in the lobby. The TV offered cable channels, and complimentary Wi-Fi was available. I found it difficult to sleep the first night due to highway traffic noise. The second night was much better, likely because I was exhausted after a long day at the ballpark and a poor night's sleep the evening before. What stood out most was the price. At $188.90 CAD per night, I felt the cost was quite high for what was offered. While the accommodations were clean and functional, they were very basic, and the overall value did not match the nightly rate in my opinion. Overall, the stay was okay and served its purpose for a short visit, but I expected more given the price point.

The location near by amenities. Free parking with a lot of light to feel safe about your car :D Not clean, I had to sleep with the window open for some fresh air, but I had to deal with a lot of noise from the I5 freeway, near by. I asked for a room at the ground floor and I ended up at the upper floor. Not the end of the world but also not a +

Close walking distance to bus stop. On check in was told "were short on linens", but not until AFTER I paid. Asked about pool hours was told don't know when it will be open". The pool was the reason I chose this motel. Clogged sink & shower. A lot of people on the property at night arguing. One of the clerks didn't like that I said hello into the mic to get his attention instead of "rapping" on the counter.

Pet friendly. That was the only good thing and parking was convenient, We brought cold perishable food only to find there was no refrigerator. (There was ice near the office, however.) There was one desk chair and no desk other than tv stand. We were told upon arrival that our room had no tv. Switching to a different room to have tv didn't work because there it wasn't operable without connection through hotel's wifi on unsecure connection on your own personal device - (no thanks!)

Horrible place Gross and dirty

This was one of the best Motel 6s that I've been in. There's no fridge or microwave, but the area is quiet.

Don't stay there! Don't book there. They steal your money by not cancelling when they don't have a room available.
