The water was very cold and there was only one light at the far end of the room so it was very dark and we had to use our flashlights on our phones just to be able to see.

I enjoyed visiting the Horseshoe Casino property at Tunica. The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly. I did miss the buffet they had years ago.

Upon opening the door to my room, I was immediately hit with a musty, unpleasant odor. I noticed that the wallpaper was held on in places with pieces of blue PAINTER'S TAPE. The painted molding had drips down the mirror and and wallpaper. The mirror embellishments were beginning to discolor and crack. The tub faucet valve handle FELL OFF and could not be put back on. The room was next to the pool and during the middle of my stay, just about the time that I needed a small nap before the next poker tournament started, a God-awful racket of heavy bass from a DJ at poolside began that made it impossible to relax (Yes, it was that loud). If my stay had been for any longer (3 nights over the weekend), I would have requested a refund and left for much better accommodations only a 5minute drive away. I will never stay at this hotel ever again and I advise you not to. The casino is the only one in Tunica, currently, with a poker room and tournaments so it has that going for it. Although, the casino itself could be kept up better and cleaner as well. The parking garage was nice to have but again, it was a little unkempt. Most of the staff were reasonably friendly and cordial.

Once we checked in i looked around the room sprayed it down etc. it wasn’t until I got in the shower i saw a used wash rag hanging behind the shower curtain. I went downstairs to the front desk they were very nonchalant and they took towels up to the room. The elevator didn’t half work we notified staff they were very nonchalant and said ok. The staff at the restaurant were mean no one wanted to do their job they argued back and forth with each other as of i wasn’t standing there. For the price I paid service should’ve been better
