Comfort Inn & Suites Downtown near University

I understand that hotels have cancellation policies, but the customer service was poor and there was no effort to work with me. The manager was unavailable, so there was no one who could address my concerns or make a decision. I've stayed at many hotels where payment is finalized at checkout, but this hotel charged my card at check-in. The entire situation was frustrating and disappointing. Based on my experience, I would not stay here again, and I would not recommend this hotel to others because of how this situation was handled.

Nice and clean

Staff was super helpful and accommodating when we had to change rooms when my mother was unable to get on her bed, which was too high for her The beds are typical hotel height, but it turned out to be too high for her. They offered us a change to a king suite, which has a couch with a pull out bed. They never acted like we were inconveniencing them.

Over all this hotel was excellent the only issue I had was the bathroom floor was very slippery after I showered. I did not get the floor wet but condensation from the shower made it very slippery

Good breakfast. AC had a little musty odor, but tolerable. Area was quiet . Overall a good stay.

Room was clean and comfortable. Quiet and convenient. Pool was really small and not clean. But everything else about the stay was great!

This property is in a great location 2 blocks from the downtown restaurant and bar district. It’s well maintained with large, clean rooms. My bed was especially comfortable this trip. The bathroom was well stocked with toiletries and towels. They have a very good hot breakfast as a finishing touch. 5 stars every time!

Otherwise , we always enjoy our stay.

We stayed in a suite. It was so spacious and had a stove and a much larger refrigerator than in most hotels. Everything was clean. The room smelled fresh. The breakfast was great.

The breakfast was good. It had a variety of foods that catered to almost every taste. The room could have been more spacious. It seemed a little cramped compared to similar rooms I’ve stayed in.

Don’t book through hotels.com because you can’t get rooms refunded if you have to leave early for emergency.

Clean, friendly staff, big fridge, convenient location and decent breakfast! Waffle maker was broken the first day of our stay but the staff were very helpful with getting in contact with the waffle maker guy and her came and fixed it overnight
