Fairfield Inn & Suites Des Moines Urbandale

The room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast was ok. Coffee was good. No staff at desk at check out but we didn't need anyone. Check in was ok, a little rushed. Overall it was fine for our one night.

Fabulous stay, fabulous staff, wish we could have stayed longer!!

Our stay was overall positive except a youth sports team took over the pool and hot tub area and no gluten-free breakfast bread items available.

Loved staying here, kids played in pool, tried out the hot tub, heavily clorinated. Convenient location, near Arby's, Pizza Ranch and more. Very clean, nice stay.

Hot tub had too much chemicals. When jets were turned on it was eye wrenching. Pool was bearable in regard to chemicals, however, it was freezing cold. The pool light came out of wall and was hanging on by wires and the railing came out of the floor. Breakfast was good and staff were nice! No outdoor patio. It was down for repairs.

Best hotel experience on my whole trip. Place was very clean and room was very spacious. Breakfast was great and staff was lovely.

The room had water damge along the wall and i can tell by my reaction.. had mold. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast was pretty nasty. Runny eggs, no bacon like other places.

Room was spacious. Everything was very clean. The hotel was very quiet.

Only thing I would change is softer beds and fluffier pillows.

The room was huge. So much space to move around. Thank goodness for the toiletries bc we were only staying for 1 night & pack very light. The breakfast was ready before the set time, so whomever is leaving before 6am on the weekend will surely get a bite in before heading out.

Great location! This hotel is the perfect stay for a family.

The room was dirty when we arrived, floor needed vacuumed, shower was dirty with hair and scum. There were wires hanging from bottom on the ac unit inside the room. Our room was never cleaned or new linens brought in for our weekend stay. We had to go to the restroom in the hallway for more toilet paper because the room had very little on the roll and should have been replaced when the room was last cleaned. Overall not very pleased with the stay for the price we pay, and then the staff doesn’t know anything about state employee discounts and kept telling us it wasn’t offered when we called ahead before booking to make sure it was available.

Stayed with my husband & son over a weekend to Adventureland. Clean hotel and friendly staff. The pool & hot tub were great & so was breakfast! We enjoyed our stay.
