Also, if you book with a third party site, make sure to know what price you paid for the room. At check- in, the receptionist needed me to find that information for them.

The room was infested with roaches. Dead and alive ones. They were all over the room

Location was okay The room and the hotel were not clean. I found cockroaches and a grasshopper inside the refrigerator. This was totally unacceptable and disgusting. I was going to change hotel, but I was there for a funeral, and I really was unable to deal with another issue. On my last day, the hallway where my room was located small horribly/unpleasant.

I had a corner room which made the interior seem a little more spacious. Everything functioned and was the perfect room for just myself. My only complaint was I would see an occasional bug crawling around the wall or floor. I realized that these bugs are native to this area and are very prevalent outside as well. I wouldn't expect the staff to keep every critter out of this facility.

Overall, the room was clean and comfortable. Spacious enough for two people. The kitchenette was useful and functional. Some of the odd things to note: The refrigerator had food remaining from the previous guest. The refrigerator door is hinged on the wrong side - meaning you had to grip the edge up against the wall to open the door. The cold water isolation valve under the bathroom sink was shut off. I had to open the valve to get the faucet to deliver cold water. For the price, this room was good.

Location There were roaches in the room, the 1 elevator they had was broken so had to take the stairs which I had a senior with me so that was difficult, interaction with front desk wasn’t too great.

Upon check in it took an hour to get helped, so check in at 3 for which I arrived at 240 was not helped until 340… then told the room wasn’t ready due to other guests checking out late. Was not offered a discount for the inconvenience, was then told they would call when 530 came I finally called them and they said it was ready. No apology or discount offered for them not notifying me as we were waiting in the parking lot the entire time because the cops were all over the hotel. No one could tell us why. Actually, every night we stayed the hotel was flooded with police cars for various incidents… then our room was bare minimum cleaned.. no garbage cans, handicap rails were not attached to the wall almost fell in the shower!! The sprinkler was LEAKING and all they did was cover it with duct tape and a garbage bag. It was a terrible experience.

NICE FOR WORK
-
The rooms had a very bad smell of cigarettes and the towels were stained. Lower the cost for what its actually is

When I discovered the roaches, I asked to switch rooms, but the staff said they were unable to accommodate us because the hotel was fully booked for Bottlerock weekend and there were no rooms available. I also requested extra pillows and was told they didn’t have any surplus due to the busy weekend. I understand hotels can get overwhelmed during large events, but basic cleanliness, working amenities, and guest comfort should still be a priority. Overall, this experience was frustrating and far below expectations.

Great staff

Dead cockroach in the kitchen. A weird hole in the bathtub. Room telephone didn't have a cord for a working handset.

Easy access. elevator was broken, that for this trip, that was not a deterrent. when they say breakfast included, you do get a kitchen with the room. However, the breakfast was just to grab and go, which was fine. the coffee was excellent, unlike some other places. The fees for a small dog were unbelievably exceptional, only fifteen dollars a day, and they were extremely animal friendly. Again, not a deterrent. However, to summit.Maybe so i'm including it in the review. it appears that some people are 'permanent' guests. Everything that our expectations. our highest expectation was cleanliness, and that they fulfilled. we would stay again. PS service animals are free. No complaints. it is located across the parking lot from a wonderful bar and grill, that serves excellent food with excellent service. An exceptional prices.

She was pleasant and welcoming The property is old, very rundown , elevator was broke, mold in the sink (all around the rim) bath / shower. There was packaging tape holding a corner of the counter together , broken outlet covers, carpets are ancient, carpets have very dark stains, the rolling chair had god knows what on it ( stain upon stain) numerous chips and lifts on the countertop The exit door by the parking lot didn’t lock ( big safety hazard) the doors look like they haven’t been cleaned in days
