Nice, quiet location and condo was clean with a well supplied kitchen. Unfortunately, the washing machine did not work, which we reported to the person at the Hyatt check-in counter. The washing machine was repaired. When we made coffee the following morning, the coffee was leaking onto the hot plate - we figured we must have spilled coffee. After the coffee had cooled while in the carafe, we moved the carafe onto the granite countertop and needed to wipe up the base of the coffee machine. Several hours later when we returned to the condo, the coffee had leaked out of the carafe into a large puddle on the countertop. We discovered the glass carafe had a crack at the bottom of the handle, which we reported to the main desk person - this was not taken care of. Otherwise, we would consider staying at the Residence In at Cascade Village again.

This was a great place to stay for probably half the price of the hotel it is associated with. Walk to hotel is about a 5 minute walk on a quiet street that crosses Gore Creek. Bed was very comfortable. It was nice to have a kitchen while travelling. This place has a pool and hot tub that I never saw anyone use in the 3 days I stayed. Hotel shuttle is very handy in getting to the villages in Vail. Would definitely recommend.

The place was amazing! We had a great time and plan to return.
-
Pretty facility Residence shuttle never available and no one helpful Spent money driving to ski daily because unable to contact shuttle and never any answer to main lobby phone

Everything was neat and tidy. The only suggestion I would add is to have some laundry detergent pods in addition to the dishwashing supplies. It’s not something I thought to bring and was not easily available near the hotel. (We did not have a car)

I rented residence specifically for the laundry component which, funny enough, wasn't working. Breakfast hours we sporadic, a few other things off point as well. Beautiful location but for the uncertainties it might be best to look in Lions or even Vail Village.

Good stay despite some issues. It took three people (including a senior manager) to check me in. It was like I was the first person whoever checked in before. I think it had to do with the fact I had a condo that the hotel operates but maybe doesn't manage. Check out was also questionable. We charged a meal to the room and did not get a final invoice at check out. The sauna also didn't work. The best part were the shuttle drivers; they were great.

We stayed in the condos. Great place near the bike trails.

The room was in decent condition and fine for two nights, but not anymore. The light in the bathroom did not work so this made it very inconvenient to take a shower or use the toilet. I had to use my iPhone light. I tried to change the lightbulb, but no success. The window shades were old and partially functional. With that being said, the bed was good. It was a sleep number, and the kitchen had been upgraded with new appliances and faucets. Not sure when Hyatt took over the cold stream condominiums, but we liked the Millrace condominiums better in the past.

The man that checked us in was wonderful. I think his name was Grant. So very helpful.

It is a little deceptive to have a picture of the Grand Hyatt implying you will be staying on property only to learn your accommodations are off property. The place was very dated. Old appliances, decor, fixtures, etc. On the positive side it was very clean and well equipped with plenty of towels and toiletries. They could have had some more laundry detergent and coffee, but otherwise ok.
-
Good location, quiet yet walkable to the Grand Hyatt for dinning or spa services
-
Great property with probably the best location in Vail. besides a couple issues with the makoto and front desk staff, a stay to remember. Definitely would stay there again
-
Great condo . Well kept. Hotel housekeeping ok
-
Great location! Clean condo. Comfy bed. Great hotel amenities. Highly recommend this place!
-
The entire staff is friendly and extremely helpful!
-
Condo was extremely dated and many basics need attention (bed, blind, shower tile broken)
-
The location, the main hotel, the restaurant The spa closes at 6 pm and only adults. I would love to have sauna to use it with kids. In Jacuzzi was always plenty of people.
-
Bunk bed was not upto standards, I think it was super old . No one picked up the phone at Hyatt to get us a shuttle . No Hyatt points as the room was booked via Expedia, they did not seem to happy booking via Expedia And a few more things

This created many logistical nightmares.
