Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Victorville

The location is great, but the Hotel is old and has not been well maintained. The block out drape was ripped & I couldn’t pull it down. I called the front desk & they sent someone up to try & pull it down. They had a hard time & the drape was really ripped & in bad shape. Lamps didn’t work. The furniture was old & worn. The elevator was scary. It was noisy and rattled alot. I prayed every time we got in it, that it wouldn’t break. The ice machine on our floor didn’t work,

The hotel was out of date and a bit run down. Our toliet wouldn’t flush and facilities brought us a plunger.

I was very tired from a long drive when I arrived. Check in was relatively quick. The studio with 2 queen beds was spacious and well appointed. I melted into my room and bed. Slept like a stone then awoke to a pretty good breakfast. I will definitely stay again. A great experience at a great value. The morning desk clerk was a bit friendlier than the evening clerk and they only had 2 luggage racks. That’s my only criticism, which isn’t much. A great place overall.

The hot tub didn't work and the pool was filthy. Breakfast was the same thing EVERY SINGLE DAY. The employees were quite friendly and apologetic for the disappointing pool and NOTtub. The upkeep was lacking and our room was clean but quite outdated.

The whole building was non smoking so I was told, when I told the staff that one of the rooms on the second floor the floor we were on was smoking pot and the whole hallway snuck, I informed the staff about the smoke He didn’t seem to care and the only reason I did was my kids and I had to hold our breath getting to the elevator.

The hotel was exceptional for a 2.5-star establishment. With a bit of renovation, such as installing more secure doors and improving the overall appearance, it could easily move up to a 3-star rating.

The room had roaches, the pool had roaches, the surrounding area had roaches. One climbed on my leg in my room and fluttered off. Found another on the bed skirt. I ask for raid or anything to take care of it. I was offered a new room on the same floor but that didn't seem like a helpful solution if there's an infestation. I contacted Expedia to help with a refund so I could just leave but unfortunately the terms I agreed to say no refunds. I stayed and I woke up to a dying roach next to the couch. My brother and 6yo niece left to another hotel. It was eventful. They offer free breakfast but the roaches killed the vibe and the whole hotel felt unsanitary. I was staying here because my uncle died and this place was the cherry on top of my crap cake. Minus the roaches, the spring bed is uncomfortable and pillows offer no support. The kitchenette was the only perk.

We were just doing a quick overnight stay on a long drive. We’ve stayed here a number of times previously on this drive and keep coming back. The room was clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed. There were a number of dining options within walking distance that met our dinner needs when we arrived. The included breakfast was great and early enough that we were able to get on the road early after a good night’s sleep. We’ll be back.

I love the parking situation with undercover parking. An amazing staff to answer all the questions you need. Along with the option to purchase drinks an snacks by the check-in, it was a over all great experience

I liked that breakfast was included and staff was friendly. But overall, the pictures of the rooms on Expedia do not match the room I was actually given.

Extremely close to shopping and food - all within walking distance. The complimentary breakfast was great and there were many choices. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was quiet. This was second time we were in the area and both times the hotel was great. Thank you! Please ensure your staff knows they are appreciated!

Nice hotel in an amazing location. The room was spacious and clean. My kids enjoyed the pool. This was our second time staying again and we will continue to stay there but the property is worn out in general. The rooms need to be updated soon. The place is looking old.

Rooms seem kind of old but very spacious. We got in at 11pm and left by 8am so didn't really hang out much, but the breakfast was descent and employees helpful.
