    When we checked in, hotel was having computer issues and was unable to issue a room key. So everyone we left and returned, we had to go to front desk to be let back into our rooms. The staff was not apologetic nor sympathetic. If was as if it was our fault we didn’t have a room key.

    The pictures on the Website are deceiving the entrance needs some TLC, and they don’t give clean towels unless you stay 3 days which they don’t tell you when you arrive, had to wait outside my room every time I left to come back because the key didn’t work due to mechanical issues. For what I paid truly things could have been a lot better.

    Checking in was Horrible! When I got to the front desk I was not acknowledged. Invisible, no hi I’ll be with you in minute, nothing. I picked this because the web site says 3 pm check in. I had some where to be by 5. Tori told me they were working on it now. It’s now 4. I changed in the bathroom and to my event. I got a text at 5:18 the room was ready

    Friendly, well-informed staff! In fact, I accidentally locked my keys in my rental car and the maintenance staff came immediately successfully helped me! The usual exceptional breakfast, but this Hampton Inn has a tiny dining area so come early if you want to avoid crowds and noise (I enjoy a calm pleasant dining experience). Weekend breakfasts not handled well: They ran out of syrup so the “make your own waffle” bar was useless; ran out of bold coffee and other coffee was weak😖; ran out of yogurt, muffins and more. So, guests were grumpy, angry. Kitchen definitely understaffed…need more food and staff for busy summer weekends with families & reunions! Only saw one roach in my room, but where there’s one roach there’s probably lots more! Swimming pool closed and the one treadmill broken…very bad! Again, GREAT STAFF.

    Sticky floors in the elevators, dirty carpets in the hallways, musty and smelly rooms and hallways, breakfast unattended and not replenished at 10 am (Saturday), room not cleaned during two night stay - really disappointing and substandard. Not a recommendation!

    I had to go to front desk to get more towels and garbage bags to clean my room. The front desk worker stated that they don’t like to clean unless you’re leaving. I asked at check In about towelsAnd cleaning and the front desk staff on June 2nd told me that they will have cleaning services available daily. This was my first time Selecting Hampton hotel! I don’t think I will select that hotel/ property when I return to Waldorf, Maryland. I will try another property when I return in August.

    The bathroom was nice. It was dirty, the service was horrible. The pool was dirty and closed the entire 5 days of our stay.. The bed was like sleeping on a boxspring. Our room was never cleaned in 5 days of stay. We ran out of toilet paper and towels twice. When we called down for more towels we were told we had to come down to get them twice. When we asked for another blanket we were told they didnt have any extra. We asked the front desk for service on our room and they never came. Again and again this hotel was a disappointment.

    Everything but one staff member. The front desk lady. Her name was Shana if that wasn’t her name then she was the one working Thursday night. She made my mother wait an hour and a half on a room she claimed wasn’t ready because it was only waiting on towels. I sat out in the lobby with my mom for an hour and a half with my little sitter and multiple cleaning staff were coming by telling her that multiple rooms were getting clean. She even checked in a couple while we were still sitting there. I asked her 3 different times if she could check it and it ended up leading to both of us getting loud. She then left for maybe 10 minutes and came up when someone else had to come complain about her not doing her job. She was very unprofessional and clearly was being petty for her own enjoyment. I was very discussed about the way she chose to talk to me and my mother. Mind you not even 5 minutes go by and one of the cleaning staff checked the room and said it was ready. So who knows how long the room was actually ready for before we could get my mom checked in. I would love to hear feedback about your solution.
