Mat-Su Resort

The hotel was lovely- right on a beautiful lake- and all of the rooms have a patio or deck off of the room that looks onto the lake! The room was clean, and it was handy to have a microwave and refrigerator. Our only complaint was that the bathtub was very slippery! But we had a great stay & I would highly recommend the property! Thank you!

Everetts restaurant was a welcome surprise! food was well cooked and plated and service was good. Room clean and decorated just for Alaskan theme.

The restaurant was wonderful.

Property well maintained and the staff was excellent. The restaurant and bar are closed on Mondays, but the manager was on site and let us have some drinks while she continued to finish up for the day. She went above and beyond to make us welcome.

The rooms were very clean, was nice to have a kitchen area and the small patio. The view of the lake was awesome, a helicopter landed on the pier when we were on the patio. The restaurant was very good and convenient.

Love this little hotel! I always stay here when I come to town. Peaceful and can hear the loons at night!

We would definitely stay here again. One suggestion would be better signage to find the lodge and the entrance.

The view from our room was amazing! We had to search a little to find where to check in (ended up being at the hostess desk in the restaurant) but the girl that helped us was great.

We really have zero complaints about the room or the hotel, we do however have an issue with whoever was staying above us on the second floor. They started stomping around at 5 am and didn’t stop until they left at 7 am. The room was nice, the view was nice, the restaurant was amazing…but the noise level was not good. I know that the hotel con not make their guests be quiet and consistent, so I’m not complaining about them. As much as I would like to give a 5 star review our stay wasn’t as good as it should have been due to other guests.

12 rooms, detached from main building sitting on the Lake. Spacious and clean. Staff is totally the best. The restaurant, “Everett’s”, is one of the best restaurants that I have eaten at. Great place to stop relax, eat and play on the lake

The property is beautiful and we enjoyed the lake and view off our patio. What was odd was check in. We had difficulty finding the front desk. Once we did we were given our room keys and the person at the desk left the property. Other guests arrived after we did and their keys were in lock boxes on the room doors. We did not need any services and the room was large and comfortable, but I was a bit concerned that there did not seem to be any staff around or any type of security - concern for a grandmother travelling with her grandsons.

Our state was very pleasant and peaceful and enjoyable. The restaurant was 5 Star also!

Our room was lacking in cleanliness a bit. The manager was great and upgraded our room. We also weren't able to stay the first night of our reservation and they refunded us!

We couldn’t even stay at resort. They didn’t honor our room request and. The front desk told us they couldn’t accommodate our stay because they were too booked up. They said we would need to find a new place to stay. Horrible customer service I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying there.
