Great stay!
-
Food Rooms , hallway , old worn carpet - felt it hadn’t an upgrade in a long time , the women traveling with us we’re pretty apprehensive about staying there
-
AC didn’t work. No real hotel staff—you check in with bartender, directly below room. Hotel fee added above listed price & no online reservation discount. Hotel very outdated.

Parking was great, right by the room. There was a mini fridge and a coffee maker. The only thing i did not like was the bathtub. It was very slick with no grab bars. There is a small deck with a veiw of the lake and mountains. They had kayaking and paddle boards you could rent.

Room was clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. Bar had good food and supplied ice for room as mine did not have a fridge. Free Easy plenty of parking. Matress needs replaced. Loud music from bar at 7AM.

Price is good but it’s possible your sleep quality will be impacted by bar situated below hotel rooms. Noticeable music every night until after 11pm, it was a work trip for me so not much sleep during this visit. If not working or not disturbed by the bar noise it’s a good option.

I stayed in room 20 for 2 nights and they just came out and told me the owner said I cant park here. Wow. Then the server asked me if I was staying here. Smh The rooms are basic and extremely outdated. The desk was a broken computer desk and the basic metal stackable chair the TV was like a 17" flat screen. The portable ac unit had broken fins loud as hell, so old the white plastic had discolored and lord knows what was in the exhaust tube that bounce around everytime it came on. The baseboard heating which I assume was controlled by wall thermostat because I saw no others controls couldn't be shut off. So it would run while the ac was on. If you open your windows prepare for the smokers cigarette smoke or other smells to come in your room. The combination shower/tub had so many chips in it watch your step. The carpet is nasty so make sure you bring slippers i actually use crocs for my hotel stays. Youll see when you walk up the stairs to get to your room although your carpet isnt as bad as the stairwell. The foyer smells like stale cigarette smoke. The food was great was going to in and try breakfast today but since I cant park here ill be moving on and not recommending this place to anyone in the future. Stayed here last year with no issues and better conditions. Maybe new owners I dont know. So you've been warned take your chances.

We reserved a room with two beds that were advertised as available. I called before 4pm to say we were going to a little late. They did not say our room was not available until we got there. They said they had a room with ONE queen bed. WHAT!!! We change places to stay the night.

Being from the central time zone made the 7 am checkout feel late because we were up by 5 am. Plenty of area places to eat, don't feel like you need to eat on the premises, the food was, OK, but not great.

Parking was good safety good. Resturant was nice$$$.room had nothing but bed table one bedside table one small chair. Noting to keep cold or heat food. Bed was awful sunk in middle and bottom sheet had stain. Door had no double way to lock so kept suitcase in front

This is a fun little hotel above a bar. Nothing fancy but cozy and comfortable. Highly recommend if you're in Wasilla for the night and open to an interesting place to stay.
