Very clean and smells great! Comfortable beds and linens.

Staff could not be more kind and helpful.

The price is very reasonable. I wish it had some more outdoor places to sit in the summer

Pets are allowed. Clean enough Didn't have the room I originally booked (double queen), had single with roll-away (very uncomfortable). Only Candlewood I've been to with a unrefundable pet deposit ($50), kind of the only reason I choose Candlewood, is for the dog. Bathroom tub, elderly father, very slippery - put a towel down so no slipping.

The accessible room with a roll in shower that I booked 3 weeks in advance was not available upon arrival.

The room smelled terrible, like a closed unused room full of dust and mold. There were spider webs everywhere, flies inside the room, and the living room area smelled very bad, like it had not been cleaned or used properly for a long time. The curtains were broken, the windows were covered with dead flies and thick dust, and even the exhaust fan was packed with dust and dirt. It was obvious the room was not being maintained properly. The suite setup was also inconvenient because the AC and heater were only in the living room and barely reached the bedroom. I had to leave the bedroom door open the whole time just to get airflow, which made it difficult to sleep because the room kept getting too cold or too warm. I called the front desk to ask if they had a portable heater or fan available, but they told me they had none. Their only solution was to downgrade me into a smaller room while still charging me the same price. I was also surprised that housekeeping is only done once a week. I ended up getting sick with severe allergies and fever symptoms. I was visiting my military partner after 6 months apart, and this experience ruined our stay. I should have taken more evidence, but the staff already knows these issues exist.

This is our fourth stay at this location. The facility is always clean and the staff is very pleasant. This is our go to when visiting in the area. Nothing

Every employee I interacted with was helpful and kind! I was very comfortable and pleased.

Initial room smelled like cat pee
-
Room smelled a little like fried food but otherwise just fine.
-
Clean room and great location
-
Quiet. Close to the interstate.

The one other issue we had was that, although there ended up being several inches of snow covering a sheet of ice on the sidewalks, the sidewalks were neither shoveled nor salted. At least out the back entrance. Those two issues notwithstanding, Candlewood was fine. It was quiet, common spaces and our room were clean, they allow pets, and there is a Walmart (and other stores) about a 5 minute walk from the lobby. But would we stay again? Probably not, simply because of the shower. If we knew the shower issue was fixed, then yes. But otherwise, no.

The location is prefect to those visiting family stationed at Fort Drum. Comfortable and functional if staying for a few days The only thing I had an issue with was the door making a terrible noise when opening
