Staff excellent! Cleanliness ok, pool nice but had issues with rough bottom.

Property and rooms are long overdue for updates. Staff was great and did there best to resolve issues as quickly as possible. We enjoyed our stay and got a good safe nights rest but it did feel like everything just needed a little maintenance or updating. Mexican restaurant inside the hotel was fantastic!!!

All of the staff were amazing in all the details they each had for their jobs. Management treated us with so much respect and genuine kindness after knowing what we had just had from a previous stay at a different hotel. The room was beautiful and clean, the restaurant had wonderful food and very nice staff, the pool area was still able to be used until 11pm, as well as the jacuzzi! The layout of the indoor area was built so it made you feel you had a large welcoming area with plants and places to sit and relax. There as also a work out area which had many forms of equipment and looked clean. The free breakfast room was large, clean, and kept filled with fresh food during the hours open for breakfast. There was also a coffee area outside of that room so if you wanted one- without being in your room or breakfast area- was kept available. I would HIGHLY recommend using this Hotel if visiting or working in the Watertown S.Dakota area. The outside had large, clean area for parking and a nice area for unloading or loading when visiting or leaving to make it easier for those with families or groups for meetings. We both felt safe, comfortable and wished that all places had this standard inside and out! And the prices to me seemed about the same as some shabby places.(Been there!)We saw many gathering with lots of family members which says there’s a high level of trust. I usually use my timeshare but this was on a unscheduled road trip. Thank you all always! Your awesome!

Hotel is getting refurbished right now so half complete, but they do a good job of making sure the common areas are ready for guest.

Late night stop headed to Omaha . Crashed w my kids and up and out early back on the road.

The place is large, lots of parking. Even space for trailers. A nice Mexican restaurant attached. The staff in the restaurant was very helpful and friendly.

After a long travel day, we were delighted with the entire experience at AmericInn. The staff were welcoming, the room clean and comfortable and having a restaurant on property was a huge bonus, and the food was terrific

Great place to stay, the breakfast was really good, the staff did an outstanding job! It is an older structure but don't judge a book by its cover. The room was clean, with new furniture and the bed was super comfortable! There hasn't been anything I didn't like. It was an all-over great experience!

The overall facility layout and common areas are well-appointed and furnished. The old school wall mounted HVAC units are loud and do not provide consistent room temperature. The open gallery between the racetrack room layout was a huge echo chamber. The noise pollution created by the open gallery does not offer a quiet sleeping or resting environment. The room amenities were adequate. I guess I inserted some of our dislikes in this section. We definitely give huge kudos to the well operated and managed Mexican restaurant. The food and beverages are outstanding as is the service. There is not adequate hot water supply for the shower, bathing and lavatory use. The towels and wash clothes are reaching end of service life. Again, the through wall HVAC units are noisy and are not able to provide consistent temperature throughout the space. The poor acoustics in the open gallery area cause immense noise pollution.

The pool was filthy. The coffee curdles. The room coffee maker missing pieces. The breakfast 'eggs' were still in liquid form. Lots of maintenance items and empty boxes throughout hotel. Holes in all surfaces...in all areas.

Property was in the midst of being remodeled and updated. It looks like it will be awesome. Clean room, comfortable bed, good for a stop-over night.
