Super 8 by Wyndham Watertown

We stayed on our way home. You can tell they have been making renovations throughout with fresh paint, new flooring, etc. They mentioned the fun lights in the pool area along with toys. We had lots of fun in the pool area playing volleyball.

The outside was a little sketchy when I first pulled up. Seems like more of a long term stay than leisure but the front desk personnel was friendly and apologetic for a minor issue with my room. The room was very clean and comfortable. I didn’t use any of the amenities. The sound proofing was not great.

many messages back and forth but they never made good on their mistake. Many different options to stay, so definitely won't stay here again as the management will play bait and switch.

Old, smelly, sinks and bathtubs plugged, TVs didn’t work. Just plain bad

They had a pool but it’s pretty dirty the hot tub was kind of clean the shower was very dirty and the curtain for the shower is not close enough to it so water goes all over the floor there is a strong smell all over the hotel it does not smell very good in there my pillows they had had stains all over them thankfully I always bring my own blankets and pillows there was dirt and dust in a lot of areas bathroom door had a hole punched in it I had a long room booked they tried to move me down to a queen size granted this place is only 80$ a night it seems to cost too much for the shape everything was in two of the house keepers did not even speak English I could’ve gotten a way better hotel for 20-30$ more per night I figured it would at least be pretty decent for the price but it’s overpriced in my opinion for the condition of everything like why are my sheets and pillows stained why wouldn’t they be thrown away the pool was literally cloudy I would never swim in that at all the hot tub seems kinda clean but was barely even warm all in all I don’t think I will go back there ever

The air conditioner worked. The filter needed to be cleaned. I did that for them..

Pictures are deceiving. Outdated and seems to be mid-renovations. No elevator so difficult getting luggage up to 3 floor using stairs.

The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean and well-kept

Dirty and broken holes in the bathroom door we were scheduled to stay tonight and we left the first morning and I booked another motel for the second night and don’t be fooled by the pictures on the website

We had a nice experience. The owners are very accommodating and they are in the process of upgrading the facility. It was an affordable stay with amenities. The hot tub was hot! The pool was decked out for the kids(adults too) with toys a volleyball net along with a projector, music and lights! There were decent breakfast options and the internet was quick. Our room hadn’t been updated yet but I’m sure as they progress the rooms will not disappoint. We would definitely stop again if we were in the area again!

Room smelled like mildew, gave me a headache and there was a huge crack in the bathroom door that didnt allow me to close it unless I pulled carefully since the doorknob was barely hanging on. I didnt end up sleeping there.

Staff was attentive. Shower was not suitable for tall people.

Great location Pool was closed because it was being cleaned, 2 days in a row. No pool towels in spa or pool area.

Hallway stairs not clean. Side door propped open all night with a rubber rug. Supposed to be locked 24 hours a day.

Expedia booked this location when I was looking for lodging in DesMoines,IA. I have been trying to cancel it since I found there was no Watertown,IA and this did not meet my needs for the night.

Pet friendly. No Problems with pets. Had a pool and breakfast.
