We almost stayed in one of those generic Hilton, Doubletree chain hotels with the “faux western” facades on the north end of town. So happy we experienced the real West in this true gen.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The staff there were all great people. The room was comfy and clean, and the breakfast was good. If I ever drive this way through here again, I'd definitely consider Roosevelt Inn.

Very nice place would stay again

Everything about this hotel was perfect! The front desk lady was exceptional she even remembered my voice from last summer when I had to cancel and I was so disappointed because I was really looking forward to staying there in one of their cabins. She remembered how disappointed I was and said well I am so glad you got to come this year. She said have I talked with you before. I was a surprised and said I don't think so until I remembered last summer and I said Shannon she said yes. Glad to finally meet you! Now that is what you call service! Plus she told me about lots of great things. I love unique hotels and this hotel is definitely unique. It is like a museum with all the lobby and all the hallways lined with Theodore Roosevelt paraphernalia and old signs. The lobby is bright and beautiful with a nice seating area with an old oil drum (of course all clean) for the coffee table-very cool. There is also a beautiful fireplace in the lobby. The outside of the hotel has a very appealing style with a bust of Theodore Roosevelt at the entrance to the parking lot. The cabin I stayed in was exceptional clean and the toilettes smelled wonderful. It would be great to stay a few days so I could take advantage of the kitchenette. The bed was fairly comfortable and the bathroom was very cute and clean with lots of towels. TV worked great too. The location is perfect-close to downtown and the museum. I am staying there again this August in a cabin.

This was such a fun place to stay! While it was a little older, everything was clean and comfortable. There were a lot of thoughtful details including brownies at reception, a great breakfast area, and tons of Theodore Roosevelt history everywhere you turned!

Charged $5 to use pool, and $10 per person for breakfast.

This is the ideal place to stay. Breakfast was delicious. The brownies in the afternoon were the best I have ever eaten. The people could not have been nicer or more helpful.

The staff was so helpful and friendly. The pool was an above average size. The floors were quiet at night.

Breakfast was impressive

Fantastic place to stay. We selected Watford City and the Roosevelt as a central base of operation while on sales calls. We have officially declared it our N.D. office. Wonderful staff, clean comfortable accommodations and convenient to restaurants and historic sites. You won't be disappointed.
