Extended Stay America Select Suites - Milwaukee - Wauwatosa

I loved the morning staff, night staff was horrible, they didn’t clean my room properly on arrival and it smelled like urine really bad that I had to buy stuff to make it smell good for me to tolerate the stay! They flipped the mattress to mask the mattress pad being replaced with I had to do myself.

Check in was at 3. We tried twice before getting checked in at 6pm. The room was a queen instead of the king we reserved. The room smelled, and the refrigerator had mold at the bottom. We checked out within ten minutes and never went back. I would hope you refund what we paid for this. To top it off, there were no hotel rooms available in the city. We had to drive 45 minutes west to find one, and that was an additional $400+ dollars. Not a good experience.

N/A When checking in, we heard a lady yelling at another FDhousekeeper to get moving and clean rooms because guests were checking in. The room was just old and not well kept. It smelled really bed really bad. There was hair on the back of the bathroom toilet, the toilet seat was loose, and there weren’t enough towels. My husband tried opening the refrigerator, and it pulled so far from the wall before he could get the door open The bed seemed smaller that the queen size that was advertised. The pillows were so thin

nothing about it place when we got there at 8:30 pm - we got our key and heading to the room only to find the room propped open and lights on with the bed not made and not CLEANED - front desk person came and sort of cleaned it as we stood outside the hallway for 25 minutes - noisy people all night above us - IF I could have found another place - I would have but most were full in the area -- carpet was torn and there was cobwebs hanging from the ceiling - in the morning - NO one was at the desk so we couldn't get out of there fast enough. It was horrible..

The only thing that I liked about this property, was that it was close to the event I was attending. I know this property is an extended stay… But it almost looked like a halfway house. People yelling and screaming up late at night…at the front desk in their pajamas interrupting conversations (me with the receptionist), old rooms that need repairs…smelled like weed my entire stay.

The property is not well maintained. Our room had a cracked window that wouldn’t close all the way, a dresser drawer was hanging off, the kitchen cabinetry was cracked, warped and chipping off, there were burns all around the bathroom sink. Also, they stopped serving any breakfast, which was probably for the best considering the state of the property.

The hotel was dirty, and the staff was rude and twice the desk was unattended. It was bad. Good luck.

Staff rude. Stale odor throughout hotel. Room NOT clean!! ZERO amenities such as tissues or hand towels, no blow dryer.

Need 24 hour Lobby Attendant available instead of using phone to page for late night check ins.

The bathroom walls were dirty and the garbage can did not have a trash bag in it, i had to put the trash bag in it
