Motel 6 Weed - Mount Shasta

Great place when traveling with pets !

DO NOT BOOK! This is no longer a Motel 6 and they will not let you check in with a Motel 6 reservation. It is a nightmare trying to get a refund. I had to pay again to stay there and as it was 1030pm I wasn’t in a mood to argue. Now Expedia won’t refund me!

Its closeness to I-5 They are remodeling so it’s a mess , pet hair on clean sheets , not cleaned very well tons of dust and crumbs under bed.

There is no Motel 6 - it was sold and now it is under new management.

When I got there I was told it was no longer a motel 6 and if I wanted to stay it was more and needed to pay them.

I need a refund for this. I did not get what I purchased.

No wifi , the room made reservation was not given with 2 beds they said its unavailable and gave only 1 bed room they didn't adjust the fare and we need to sleep on floor with 4 people on single bed. there is no wifi in facility.

Nothing it was completely locked up and no one was there. Why let me book a room if you are closed?! Dirty

I liked nothing. I felt scared, like it wasn’t safe so I brought everything into my room to not get robbed. The room was filthy and there was tons of black mold in the bathroom. I was afraid to step on the floor by it was awful so I keep my shoes on the whole time. The curtain was falling down, everything single thing about this space was inhabitable. I didn’t want to use the toilet, shower or sink due to it being so filthy and rundown. The ripped box springs on the bed were exposed and I was so I comfortable, I could not wait to get out of there as soon as possible. If I hadn’t been on the road for 12 hours, I wouldn’t have stayed. Everything: I should have slept in my car.

The staff was wonderful I felt very safe there, knowing that they had cameras and they were able to watch the area around our vehicles. I was happy to hear that the police did regular patrols of the ground. The rooms need to be updated. The furniture is old, looked at the vent in the bathroom and it was disgusting. There was so much dirt and dust in that vent. They need to be cleaned on a regular basis. That’s not good . The floor was clean, but just lots of marks and stains that have been there for a long time, the curtains were falling off of the curtain rods and the biggest problem is It’s just an old facility and it needs a lot of work. The furniture is old. It did not smell it . but it does need an update . The grounds there was dog shit everywhere that you. Even on the sidewalk there was dog shit by one of the rooms. That’s the fault of people not taking care of the dogs poop. But the area next to where the fire lanes were that dirt area was full of poop. I mean there has to be some kind of ground keepers there I mean, if nothing else they should be at least cleaning up that stuff. I was happy that they had cameras that they were watching the area for us. One person put a tweakers and that’s a place came through on regular rounds I did not feel unsafe there

I want my money returned we did not end up staying there the place was filthy there was feces on and in the toilet less then half roll of toilet paper the TV didn't work floors were dirty it looked like all they did was make the bed it was absolutely horrible. We went for family reunion after the reunion was over we turned keys in didn't stay the night we drove home it looked like they were drinking when I turned in the keys and a scent of something like marijuana I was with my grandchild and did not feel safe there. absolutely NOTHING

Nothing Motel room was dirty, restroom was dirty, room smells like cigarettes. The ventilation system sucks, you can smell the neighbors smoking weed coming from the AC vent. Microwave was dirty and missing parts. TV had no remote so I didn't even bother using the TV. Exterior was horrible as well, dead grass and weeds overgrown everywhere.

It is closer to the freeway:) It is a quite place to rest after a long drive. Need some repairs in room!

The beds were pretty clean, spotless. The keys worked well. The location of the motel was accessible. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Even if it looks like someone worked there to clean and prepare the room, the sink, the shower floor/walls, the shower curtain, the towel rack, and the toilet seat were filthy, like they need a stronger product to be cleaned or a magical eraser sponge; it would make a great difference. Also, the floors were greasy and sticky.

Nothing, this place was a wreck. Everything, the non-smoking rooms stank of bug killer and stale cigarettes, the clerk at the desk told us we didn't have reservations and the motel was full, we threatened to call the cops if he didn't refund us and he just shrugged. The clerk was incapable of using the software and kept calling his boss on the phone to find out why he was double booked. We were in the parking lot when his daughter came running out to say he had "found" us in his system. The rooms were nasty. a young teenager was prowling the halls with a pit-bull on a rope and a diapered toddler. Someone tried to get into our room at night! This was easily my worst hotel experience in 40 years. We left at 10pm for a hotel down the street and just gave up on the considerable amount we had spent in this gross dive.

You have got to be joking! I drove for 6 hours to find a hotel you had booked me into CLOSED, AND HAD BEEN FOR MONTHS!! Never will I use your service again! In fact I intend to report you to the Better Business Bureau! If I find a charge on my credit card for this “booking” I will be reporting you! Jackasses! Enough said!
