Holiday Inn Express Milwaukee West Allis by IHG

Perfect pet friendly place to stay. Very clean, well-maintained, and easy access for taking the dog out. However the ventilation seemed inadequate and the room was stuffy and humid, with a hint of wet-dog smell, and with windows that don’t open there was no way to alleviate it.

Th property was good but the rooms were a little dirty. Hair in beds and holes in comforter. Food was fabulous. Pool wasn't monitored with towels and kids with no parents.

The staff was awesome and very friendly!

Mike was at the desk for checkout. He was not very personable at all and rude at times to the guests coming to counter.

We travelled three hours and wanted to check in early, even with a fee, the guy at the front desk said, not today. The room was fine. Morning breakfast smelled great but when we got to the dining area, the food was depleted, I went to the kitchen to ask about replenishing, I was told I can’t be in here. The woman clearly didn’t care that guests were waiting for breakfast. Maybe housekeeping should take over the kitchen

We found dirty underwear in the sofa bed right under the cushions. One of the beds sheets were stained and dirty. And the shower curtain was ripped before we went in the room causing water to get all over the floor anytime someone showered.

Room and common areas were clean. Only problem I have is the $50 convince fee hasn’t been removed from my credit card and it’s been over a week since I stayed there.

The room was clean, the staff was friendly but the room had a TERRIBLE odor. Smelled like dirty feet. Pool was nice and clean. Breakfast was good.

The property was perfect staff awesome. I would stay there again. The only thing I saw that needed improvement was the carpet in the room. It could have been cleaner but other than that, it was good.

Night Staff was extremely unfriendly

Hotel is over priced, breakfast was fairly unhealthy with no variety of non-dairy or gluten free, the air conditioning is a disaster it constantly goes off in the middle of the night. The hotel is not tailored for business travelers. Why do I have to ask to have my room cleaned!!!??? Maybe you should hire more staff and do it automatically it’s not a luxury it’s a necessity. Ask your CEO if he likes to come back to an unkempt room!!! Reminder the room wasn’t ready when I arrived but you charged me for the night. The first room I was given smelled like cat urine and did not have a coffee machine, a/c wasn’t on. Each room should offer the same amenities if the charge is the same. The shade situation is also a debacle. Never again for me.
