Holiday Inn Express Milwaukee West Allis by IHG

We stay here when we are in town to visit our daughter and her family. I wish there was a better variety for the breakfast. The guy that checks us in is a bit odd and has the same jokes… which is creepy. Hotel itself is a good value.

Very accommodating for late check out, nice breakfast, workout facilities clean. Beds comfortable and clean!

I thought the breakfast was very good. Wish you had bacon instead of sausage but everything was tasty.

We were repeatedly told that towels were being tracked, and when we asked housekeeping staff for assistance, they never had any available. Instead, we were instructed to go down to the front desk ourselves. What was most disappointing was that one front desk employee actually told me to bring my dirty towels downstairs before I could get clean ones. This was around midnight after I had been traveling all day, checked in, showered, and then attended a meeting. The last thing I should have been expected to do at that hour was carry used towels through the hotel just to receive fresh ones. Needless to say, my only focus was rest. My question is simple: why was it so difficult to get towels? This is a basic hotel amenity that guests should not have to chase down. I paid for my room and expected a reasonable level of service, not additional work and inconvenience. The entire experience was frustrating, ridiculous, and unacceptable. Something as routine as providing clean towels should never become a burden for paying guests.

Very clean and well maintained. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was good. Just one little thing ... there was no half and half for coffee. There were only sweetened creamers.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed four nights and were always greeted when coming and going. Housekeeping came in after the 2nd night and only left us one washcloth for the rest of our stay, so had to ask for more. They never replaced the Kleenex box.

At check in we had 3 bath towels and only 1 wash cloth & 1 hand towel for a room that was designed for 4 people. The cleaning staff made our beds after the first night, but did not take away the dirty towels or leave clean towels.

Good location, close to where we needed to be The room was musty, like it was wet at one point in time. Just had a musty smell and our clothes smelled like it when we left. The air conditioner sounded like it was broken.
