Very old motel but very clean. Kitchen breakfast was not very good juice machine broken, pancake machine broken. Eating area so small we couldn’t get a table. Expensive for what was offered

Best place in West Yellowstone! Staff was very friendly. Rooms were super clean. Breakfast was great. Free hot drinks 24/7. Highly recommend. We’ll be back!

The Brandin’ Iron Inn is in a great location, an easy walk to restaurants and shops! It’s an older motel-style property that has been well maintained. Our double-queen upstairs room was clean with a functional heat & AC Unit (both of which were needed for our stay!) The breakfast was a bit crowded/chaotic for a short time — too many guests in a small space all at once — but the selection was fine. There was adequate parking. For the location and the time of year near Yellowstone, I feel I got a good deal and would return.

The check in was smooth and the staff very friendly. Conveniently located within walking distance to multiple restaurants. 2 day stay and wasn’t expecting housekeeping but everything was fresh after being out all day. The “breakfast buffet” was no different than any other property that offered free breakfast. The separate room was crowded, hot and minimal seating for the volume of people. We took at look and left.

The property was clean. The location was great. Plenty to do in the area.

I made the reservation of this hotel seeing the pictures and the Expedia ratings. This particular place made me second guess Expedia ratings. I understand that this is a prime location right at the west entrance of Yellowstone but oh please for the price they charge for night can you please update your hotel. Rooms are so outdated that I beat myself for falling for the pictures. At least provide a power outlet with USB ports let alone a microwave. Lucky I had my power heads and if you forget them you are screwed. Staff over there does a good job with what they were given to provide a good service. I paid 300 a night which doesn’t worth 90 a night elsewhere. Seems like the management only trying to milk money and pay no attention to bring the place to this century. Basically don’t go there u less you do t have any other option .

The building was a bit dated but clean. The breakfast did not have healthy selections such as yogurt. I feel a bit overpriced.

The room was clean even though this was an older place but it had everything we needed.

The staff was friendly for the most part. The motel was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was a typical motel breakfast, the room was crowded. The only downfalls were the pillows were terrible, the water pressure wasn't great and parking was tight.

Recommended to stay here as it has great location and it was a great stay.. we get to rest comfortably and they cleaned the room everyday bu default (which is rare nowadays in umm..rika).. they could improve the breakfast and pantry amenities though

The room was minimal at best. We were are the ground floor and when you waked the floor creaked. When the people above us walked or moved in bed it was really loud and disruptive. The breakfast was not good at all.

The stay was disappointing and did not match the price. The room was very outdated, with torn mattress, old furniture, and messy curtains. There was also no carpet, which made it uncomfortable in the cold weather. When asked, the reason given was renovation, but the room still appeared poorly maintained. Overall, it felt more like a budget motel than a proper hotel. The only positive aspect was the breakfast, which was good. I would not recommend this property.

The property really needs a major overhaul. I had to wedge a chair against my room door so the sound of the wind did not come through. The weather stripping on the door needed to be replaced ages ago. You could see to the outside. The breakfast was adequate. And the cost of the room per night plus taxes & fees I would have expected more. I will not stay here again. Fool me once...

Carpet in room … dark and work with a big rig with strings hanging near bathroom. Toilet area super small. Toilet small and short. Gaming bathroom area on switch with light and super loud. Breakfast area… small .. looked like an afterthought .

We called to request a comforter and clean towels. Instead of helping, we were told they could not bring anything to the room because they were supposedly alone at the front desk and unable to leave. When I asked if someone could assist us, I was spoken to rudely and asked, “Why can’t you come down here?” The tone felt dismissive and inappropriate for a hospitality setting. We went downstairs ourselves and saw multiple staff members working, which made the explanation feel inaccurate and even more frustrating. After all of that, we still never received the comforter we originally requested. Beyond the service, the stay itself was disappointing. The towels were small and underwhelming, and our first-floor room was extremely noisy from both guests above us and activity outside. Sleep and comfort were not what we expected. I understand hotels get busy and I rarely leave negative reviews, but basic customer service, respectful communication, and following through on simple guest requests should be the minimum standard. Unfortunately, this stay fell far below expectations and I would not stay here again or recommend it to others.
