Fantastic !!

The pictures of the junior suite are misleading and entirely wrong. What I booked on Expedia and what I received were different, and the staff even agreed upon checking in. The general manager stated the pictures of the room booked on Expedia were incorrect and that those rooms had to be booked through sales ! They made no accommodations to make it right and instead blamed Expedia. If you are looking to stay at this property, I would find somewhere else. The rooms are small for the price and the only positive is the small side self parking lot that was free.

We ended up having to change rooms multiple times because of the conditions, which was incredibly frustrating and disruptive. Even more concerning, my husband and I both woke up with unexplained bug bites during our stay. We are sincerely hoping they were not from bed bugs, but it was unsettling enough that we feel the hotel should thoroughly inspect the rooms. For a hotel of this caliber, we expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and maintenance. Having to move from room to room and then leave concerned about possible bed bugs significantly impacted our experience. Unfortunately, based on the condition of the rooms and the cleanliness issues we encountered, this stay fell well below our expectations.

As I had paid for it through my reservation with Expedia, the hotel couldn’t provide a voucher for Brunch. I would like to get that credited back to my account

Promised me a junior suite then downgraded me with no credit or anything to my stay.
-
Very skimpy with the towels and only 1 hook on the back of the door to hang bath and hand towels. Sink in the same room as shower and toilet.
-
The 1st room they had me go to had wet floor and smelled like mildew so we were changed to another room which was better but still not what I expected. Seems to need updating and cleanliness wasnt the best.
-
Pleasant staff and an adequately maintained facility. Need to increase the maid staff in order to cut down on the time it takes to service the rooms. Biggest complaint is the lack of handicap parking near the hotel entrance. Only one space was designated, with the rest of the spaces being valet parking. The remaining handicap spaces were located at the far end of the building. This places an enormous burden on caregivers who have to tend to their loved one as well as their luggage.

Paid for a "Westin" junior suite but was told there was only one kind of suite. Room I paid for was not what I was given. Was told sorry we are sold out and all other rooms are taken. I paid a considerable amount more for a room with a separate sink and sitting area but only was given the standard "junior suite". Highly disappointed.

The manager, Mauricio, came through in the clutch. We arrived early, and he took care of us. He made our 1st trip to Chicago memorable!
-
The staff at check-in was rude and not to helpful when asking for luggage cart.
-
Hotel is in need of a rental reno, carpets felt very dated in our room had a very strong smell that they had clearly tried to cover up with air freshener. Service was fine but jsur dated and not consistent with 4 star level.

I had lost my gold bracelet and the hotel picked it up for me and held it until I came back from my night out

Very clean and comfortable rooms. All the staff we interacted with were extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful.
