Reviews

It was difficult finding my way into the hotel.
-
A/C and shower worked nothing else
-
Air conditioning wasn’t working well. Employees were very nice and accommodating. Went for a walk by the river and Wheeling has a serious drug and homeless problem.
-
It was absolutely horrible, I would not recommend this place! Nothing like the pictures
-
There was no security cameras in the garage and entryway into the back hallway to the rooms. The garage was also extremely broken up and rough to drive through. The room did not seem clean and the bathroom floor was dirty. There was no lock on the bedroom window and no lights or lamps in the bedroom

Booked room and managment failed to contact us to inform us that the buidling had been condemned.
-
The property had been condemned by the city one week before my reservation. Gas leaks, plumbing burst, black mold. Two people at the desk explained this to me. I texted with an Expedia employee to make sure I wouldn’t have any charges for a place that was condemned. I should have been notified.

The hotel was closed by the department of health prior to our arrival. The hotel never notified us of the closure. and they would not answer the phones after the closure.

Room keys/cards didn't work. TV didn't work. Took forever for someone to come and fix it. We had to go and ask 5 times for someone to finally come.

There is no fitted sheet in the mattress. Mattress was stained. There was no soap in the bathroom. There was something splattered on the bathroom door. The freezer needs to be defrosted and cleaned. The tiolet seat needs to be replaced. The tub wasn't cleaned. There was a used shampoo bottle in the tub. The halls are dingy and dirty. Towels are dingy and don't smell off bleach or other cleaning products. The parking garage entrances to the hotel are very frightening. A take out plastic storage container with lid of sugar and cream for the lobby complementary coffee. If you're going to save money by not buying individual packets, a diner style sugar dispenser is more hygienic. Room smelled like old cigarette smoke. I expected better since the hotel is downtown. However, the hotel is downtown so I should have expected more like transient accommodations.

Hard workers and kind staff but property was a bit sketchy.
-
We had to change rooms because the first one looked as though it had been stripped and never remodeled. Second room was better but not great.
-
The place is old so it looks old and smells old. It wasn’t dirty, just old. The beds were comfortable enough. They could use new pillows. The worst was the Main Street to the place is under construction so it was hard to figure out how to get in. The elevators are a little scary, but, again the place is old.

Staff was polite and room was clean. Hotel is very old and needs to be renovated.
-
TV didn't work. Reported it on the first day of stay. Still wasn't resolved when I checked out. Couldn't find any way of controlling the temp. Mgt was unwilling or on able to adjust bill. Was able to speak with mgt the night before I checked out. He was in the bar. They did have a really good quality tp though. Really close to Wes Banco Arena

This place should probably be condemned. The entire place is in poor condition. Our room was hardly cleaned, there were used wash cloths left in the shower, we had no toilet paper in our room and they had NO ICE MACHINE. That last part wasn’t mentioned to me until I wandered to the front desk with an empty ice bucket. Thats ok though, a few blocks away there’s a 7-11 littered with crack heads you can buy a bag.

Room 124. Room filthy. No extra toilet paper. Dirty tub. No screen in window. Fridge outlet was not working so, no fridge. We checked in and waited for them to clean it at 2pm. At 20 mins waiting mark, we got our keys, left and came back later. Very unsecured free parking. One night isnt bad. Wouldnt stay more than 1 night to sleep.

Very tired hotel but clean and good value.
-
It took over 1 hour to check in....the worst.
-
Took 45 minutes for 5 people to check in and the rooms were about 85 degrees. The window didn't open and there was no ac that could be used.
