Budget inn Whittier

Room was dirty, musty, and the pillows looked used. The whole reservation.

Parking was a mess (lot belonged to the pet hospital), next to a liquor store, no towels, useless AC in a side room, only 5 channels, flimsy window lock, and a hidden $50 deposit. Terrible stay. Never again.

Staff, felt intrusive. Made feel uncomfortable.

Nothing As soon as I walked up to the service window the husband and wife were stereotyping me. I booked it online. It did not say anything about a $50 cash deposit that would be returned to me at checkout, so I did not have the $50 cash on me so I asked if they could take it from my credit card and they said no, so they made me walk across the street to a gas station to use the ATM machine. But the gas station was closed. When I went back to tell them that the ATM was not available. There was another guy, renting a room who was white and he was not asked for a $50 cash deposit. So I complained. The room walls had holes and were filthy. There was glitter dust all over the floor probably from the last guest. The bed cover had two cigarette burns , and there was graffiti on a wall. And you could hear the neighbors on the next room walls are paper thin even when I was checking out the owner manager stepped out of the office and was standing by the sidewalk, keeping an eye on me getting into my vehicle, making sure that I wasn't taking anything from the room. The only reason I did not check out was because I was in town for a funeral and it was the only thing available that late at night, I will definitely not stay there ever again.

Its cheap. Room and shower is pretty good inside. They make you pay $50 cash deposit. parking is awful. You have to drive round the back. There is a liquor store 50 yards away. Not a great area. You have to communicate through a plastic barrier.

Wish it had a bigger refrigerator.

It was a decent night for the first night...so I guess I can say we will be coming back..

Nothing at all was good about this place ! This motel was the worst experience of my life ! Wouldn't recommend this horrible place to my worst enemy! The staff didn't speak any English ! They were rude and they harass you for sitting in your car!

I had to go back because room key didn’t work
