AC Hotel Wichita Downtown

The hotel is in a good location, and the room was clean. The parking situation isn't great. Long line for valet parking with not many spots available. I had to park on the street and pay through a parking app. Early Sunday morning I was woken by a fire alarm and an announcement to evacuate the building. It was a false alarm. The room is small.

Everything was perfect! Nice and safe.

The hotel itself has a lot of character, and the staff members we interacted with were friendly. However, for the price point, the overall experience was disappointing. In addition to the check-in and housekeeping issues, our room was very noisy throughout the night due to street traffic, and there seem to be very little soundproofing. What was most disappointing with that no apology, acknowledgment of the inconvenience, or accommodation was offered despite the multiple issues we encountered. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would be hesitant to return

We loved the accommodations. Very cool building. Things were very clean. The only downside is that on Saturday night we had to listen to the sports/drag cars race up and down through downtown until about 11:30 pm.

The bar staff was attentive. We enjoyed the location, although the noise from the street was loud at night.

We we didn’t get daily cleaning service and had dirty towels and glasses

Breakfast was good the area was nice and clean. The only thing I would say is that there were very loud noises into the night. The motor cycles and loud cars and trucks racing there cars up and down the street. It was really too much and affected your overall rest. Other than that it was a really good stay.

Guests do not have access to a microwave in their rooms or in common areas. Therefore, reheating food is not an option. My husband was obliged to transport our food to a nearby hotel, the Hyatt, where he was granted permission to use their microwave. Additionally, the elevator was out of service for a full day, and as our room was on the ninth floor, guests unable to use the stairs faced significant inconvenience.

They ballet drivers were driving the vehicles really hard and seemed to be way too young. I parked down stairs so I could take my stuff to my room and they called me andtold me if I didn’t move my vehicle in the next 10 minutes they were calling the cops
