Howard Johnson by Wyndham Wichita Airport

I was charged another 20 dollars on top of the 50 that I was told online that I would be paying. Only after I was already charged for the first amount. I get there and they show me some sign taped on the desk about charging $20 fee outside of the booking. I asked why didn’t they have this showing on the website “. Acted like it was common to mislead people online then get them there and basically force me to pay 20 more bucks because it was late. I honestly could file some stuff with the better business office and mention this website and how nobody mentions hidden fees

Beside the maid service anyone else especially front desk not friendly at all

Ac was slow took 4 hours to cool room. Staff was great. Good value for price.

I am writing to formally complain about the poor condition of the Howard Johnson Hotel during my recent visit. Upon arrival, the exterior of the building appeared uninviting, but we decided to proceed with our stay. While the front desk staff was courteous and friendly, the overall state of the hotel was completely unacceptable. The hallways, stairs, and rooms had dark, dingy, and heavily stained carpeting, with visible dirt buildup along the edges of the staircases. The furniture was extremely outdated, and the entire property, especially our room, had a prominent, unpleasant odor. The environment felt dark, dirty, and deeply uncomfortable. The conditions were so poor that we chose to check out immediately and stay at a different hotel, without even waiting to request a refund. While checking out of our alternative accommodation, we met another guest who had also checked out of your hotel early for the exact same reasons. I am bringing this to your attention in the hope that these cleanliness and maintenance issues will be addressed immediately. Sincerely, Shawna

Disappointing

The location The breakfast was horrible and the room smelled terrible and I pulled back the bed sheets they was not changed from the guest before there was food crumbs in the sheets

The late check out The whole building was in need of repair. Several things had not been wiped down. Carpet, doors, and paint was worn and need of fixing.

Some of the staff not friendly at all. An officer knock to the door asking if we had heard any Domestic violence that had happen. Not the best choice to stay

It was quiet! Some upgrades would help. *The rubber/plastic coating on the window curtains was peeling off, interfering with darkening the room. *The sink had plastic adhesives splattered across the surface & the basin was scratched (probably vandalized by previous customers). *The towel rack was rusted, causing marks on the white towels.

The place was nice and the ac works really well

I stayed two nights and was traveling alone. The hotel was very clean, the air conditioner worked well and the room had fresh carpet and furniture. It was a great deal for the price. The only downside is that even though they advertise free breakfast, there was only coffee and a couple hostess pastries. But I would gladly stay here again.

Very poor

Old out dated and moldy, woke up with cough and headache more than likely do to mold in room. Should have known better when room smelt like freebrezze when I walked in
