Super 8 by Wyndham Wichita Airport

The biggest concern was the nightstand. There was a white substance all down the side of it that appeared to be mold, and it continued down into the carpet. Whether it was actually mold or something else, it definitely looked like something that should have been noticed and cleaned before the room was given to another guest. We weren't expecting anything fancy—we were literally just stopping for the night—but a room should still be clean and properly maintained. I took pictures because I honestly couldn't believe some of these things had been overlooked. This room definitely needs attention from both housekeeping and maintenance.

My fiance and I got a room for a business trip here. First, we were greeted with an awful moldy cigarette smell in our non-smoking room. Then one of the first things we noticed was the graffiti on the wall like we were staying under a bridge. Then the stains on the sofa and the bed. The cleaning staff did their best but they can't perform miracles. And lastly there were holes and cracks everywhere. I stayed at couple other Super 8s in the past and had a decent experience but this was the worst place I have ever stayed at.

Overall my room was good compared to some family members rooms. For me everything was good except for two things. The shower head needed replaced or at the least cleaned of calcium deposits. On the side that I sleep on didn’t have easy access to a light source. I had to get up out of bed to turn on or off the light.

Door hard to open and close, tile pockmarked and scratched, AC unit loud, shower head pipe not sealed, paint where it didn’t belong, fridge leaked water all over the floor. Breakfast was fine, shuttle service was very convenient.

Don’t fall for the pictures online. The rooms I was in was out dated, poorly painted, and not clean (cigarette burns in comforter in a non-smoking room, dirt in corners, dust in the towel rack where the towels were, bugs in and around the breakfast area). I went to reserve a shuttle ride to the airport, the front desk worker saw me, walked into the back room, I waited a minute then rang the bell, and waited, and rang the bell again. I waited roughly 10 minutes and no one came back. I normally do not review hotels but I figured this one may help someone else avoid a bad hotel.

I appreciate the security of checking in and it was easy to get to my room. Covers pretty much everything you’d need.

Check-in was pleasant and friendly. Bed was comfy, air worked well, shower was hot. Breakfast has several options. A nice stay for the price.

It was not clean it had a mold smell just was not happy with the room

The refrigerator was so full of ice you couldn't use the freezer ,the room needed painting and a little live desperately. The lady at the front desk was very nice offer to change rooms .But it was for 1 night .I appreciate the shuttle to airport.

The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. Good room and location for the price.

Liked that there were 2 beds. Got in really late and attendant was very rude. Seemed to have better things to do than wait on me. Rooms were clean but needed some attention to detail, light switches behind grab bar in bathroom, wrong lid on toilet tank, only one towel for 3 people. Beds were very uncomfortable. Never staying here again.
