Wyndham Garden Wichita Downtown

It was a ok experience.

We then were unable to turn off the shower. I assumed I was just an idiot, but no… it was on full blast hot water with no way to stop it. Still unconvinced of my non idiot status I asked another guest in the hall to give it a look and knowing quite a bit about plumbing he assured me I was correct that it was stuck. The front desk changed our room from the 7th to second floor at around one AM and we got to pack back up and move. Reporting to duty the next morning at the Armory tired as hell was quite fun.

Everything was good.

Breakfast was ok because the only thing I look for is the waffle maker. It had eggs & sausage. Dry cereal milk & yogurt. Not bad just not as great as some other places. I had to fight the mats away. Hallways smelled sorta musty. Room was clean ac worked fine. Over all not to bad. A little pricy for the quality. But it’s walking distance to the intrust bank. So ya

The room was ok, it was clean. The AC was fantastic.

Dont let the pictures fool you. This hotel is very run down and not the cleanest place to stay. Very sketchy neighborhood with homeless sleeping pretty much right outside. Definitely would not stay here again.

Place is located in a sketchy neighborhood off of Broadway. Rooms are tiny and so are the beds.

If I could give it no stars I would! .. place is terrible. Don’t fall for renovation photos. Terrible area as well. Extremely disappointed and frustrated that I paid that amount to stay

The elevators were not working properly, and I couldn’t even find the stairs to use. The breakfast area didn’t really feel clean and the options were not great. The property is very old. Although you can tell they’ve tried to do some modifications, our room was very small. They also did not run the air-conditioning in the common areas or hallways of the hotel so it was extremely hot walking to the room.

This hotel is located in a very bad neighborhood. Do not believe the pictures. There is no restaurant or bar! I would never stay there again!

No air conditioning in lobby and breakfast area. Very dirty inside and out. Needs updating and a good cleaning!
