Wyndham Garden Wichita Downtown

Comfortable, quiet and clean room with friendly staff. The hot water and A/C worked well. The pool was nice but the hot tub was unfortunately paved over. The area seemed safe and convenient to restaurants. The breakfast included was a standard hotel breakfast. I thought it was a very good value.

Carpet in rooms needed cleaning, bed sheets didn’t seem very clean. Hotel was okay for the price.

The hotel smelled. I was there for 4 days, didn't see a housekeeper at all. Ran out of towels, tissue, trash over flowed, ice machine didn't work. I complained to front desk to see if i can go to another Wyndham hotel and was told i couldn't tranfer. I told front desk i wasn't satified with the hotel or the service and i was ignored during my stay. I have pictures and video. I called customer service and they said she i booked through Travelocity, that's who i need to talk too!!!

Staff is not willing to work with you on anything.

We were a little uncomfortable about the car in the parking lot overnight, but there were no problems.

Housekeeping was not provided, even after confirming that housekeeping would be automatic on Mondays and Thursdays. Would not recommend if looking for a mid-tier hotel.

I do not like to complain but this place was really dirty. I wish I could share pictures of my sheets. When we tried to call front desk our phone would not work. House keeping came to our room and tried to tell us the spots we saw were bleach spots and they were clean. Bleach spots are not black. The walls were dirty. Just because the room is sprayed with deodorizer does not make it clean. We also told them our door would not dead bolt. We were 2 women traveling with a 10 week old baby. They told us we would be fine.

Nothing My boyfriend and I rented a room because it was my birthday. We both work really hard and don't always get to spend time together. So we wanted to do something special. It started going bad from the moment we booked. I did the early check in, uploaded my ID, put in the payment method. When we got there they didn't act like they had any of it. Then I put the reservation under my name and he was paying for it. They wouldn't accept his card because he didn't make the reservation. So I asked if they could change the name on the reservation which he did but acted like it was a pain to do so. We asked several times if the card I put in would have a hold on it and we were told no. But it did. Then we got to our room and it looked nothing like the pictures on the website. The room was so small it felt like a box. The room had a smell and the room was dirty and old. There was some trash by the beds, we probably should have pulled off the sheets but were afraid to. The AC didn't work and it's summer in Kansas and we were on the fifth floor so it was hot. It was miserable and we had a terrible time sleeping. On top of that the TV didn't work. The toilet would not flush. We knew it wasn't in the best part of town but it was scary outside at night. They do nothing to keep people away that shouldn't be there. The lobby and hallways were wet from people coming in from the swimming pool. The snack area hardly had anything. And the website said there were two onsite restaurants and there were not. It also said breakfast was until 10:30 and we double checked this when we checked in and were told yes. But we went down a little after 9 and breakfast was gone but man it was so dirty we probably would not have eaten there anyway. It was such a terrible experience and my boyfriend felt so bad because we don't have a lot of money and rarely do things like this. But like I said he wanted my birthday to be special. And this hotel stay ruined it all.

There was trash everywhere inside and out water running off the roof down on the windows ac hall units not able to be plugged in ice machine not working tv in our room not working the free breakfast was not good either they advertised free bottled water no it cost $4 per bottle and the smell throughout the property was horrible like a cheap air freshener mixed with a cleaner and bothered me really bad I will never stay at this hotel again.

Location Elevator sounds like it might need some work refrigerator wasn’t working and there were some questionable spots on the ceiling

Dirty towels & loud AC unit made experience not ideal but for price made it work. Definitely been in worse lol.
