Monaco Motel - Wildwood Beach & Boardwalk

The place was a dump window wouldn’t close air conditioner was no good very uncomfortable place

Beds and pillows are comfy too! The woman at the front desk is very kind and helpful and makes check in quick and easy.

All the furniture and bathroom was very outdated. The door to the room still uses a key and twist and turn door handle lock. No safety chain lock. The outside is not kept neat. I would not stay there again.

The property location is excellent!

Beach was close No water spout to rinse off sand

I stayed one night with my children for a basketball tournament. The check in process was not bad. I have a pet peeve that when I hand you something in your hand, I expect you to hand the item back to me in my hand and the person checking me in placed my items on the desk. That is so rude. Other than that the staff were ok. The tv in the room did not work throughout my stay. They sent someone to fix it but it never got fixed. I guess they expect people to spend most of the time on the boardwalk so a working tv is not a priority of theirs. The best thing about this motel is the location. It is steps from the boardwalk, convention center, and in the middle of some great stores on the boardwalk. The motel is small and the bathroom is too tight. It is so small you can barely bend down in the bathroom the sink is directly in front of the toilet the sink water splashes everywhere getting the toilet seat wet. It’s just not good. I have to travel to Wildwood again soon and I will not take a chance on another motel even if it is close to the boardwalk. I just have to spend a little more money to be comfortable.

First, this place doesn't matter some customers screaming yelling nor banging the doors nobody cares and place is so low maintained window had had gap and it is just peace of wood wall you hear whispering next rooms towers??? I think they stole from holiday Inn they are all mixed matched and dirty and smells bathroom had missing drain I never been place so dirty and so poorly maintained and got nerve to charge me $200. Never ever stay again never never never ever I don't care they pay me to stay I won't

Unfortunately, the room had some type of odor smell when I entered. The lighting was very dim, and the room could really use a ceiling light or a brighter lamp. The microwave didn't work, or the cord wasn't long enough to reach the outlet. I also wasn't impressed with the toiletries provided, but thankfully I brought my own. The towels didn't smell fresh, possibly due to the detergent used. The bed was made nicely, and the location was decent, although it was still a bit of a walk to the beach. Wildwood reminded me a little of Seaside. Parking was limited and involved double parking in some areas. Overall, the hotel was affordable, but because of the room conditions and lack of updates, I probably would not stay here again.

Needs to be renovated.ASAP

Do not book here. Checked in, went to room, and left immediately. Hairballs on the bed, stained sheets and floor, dirty bathtub, smelled like smoke, deadbolt lock broken. Asked for a refund and the refused. The least a hotel should be is clean and safe and this dump was 0/2.

Very central location. A good bargain. Lots nearby. Needs new grill on deck. Restore neon sign

Besides the tv and lights not working in 1st room.. switching to a 2nd room, ac had to no remote, buttons were broke and had to use a key to push the button to make the room cooler, slotted windows didnt open, no curtain on the one window, bathroom needs a complete overhaul, no exhaust fan( be prepared to be sticky and wet after you dry off).. tv had to be fixed in 2nd room, parking was a little nuts but we made the most of it!

-tiny, unclean bathroom -the toilet was NOT fastened to the floor -paid for 3 nights, left after the second night

Location was the only positive thing about this visit. We attended an event at the convention center, which is about a block away. The hotel staff clerk was very nice and pleasant. I asked to change to another room because I didn't want to walk up the steps due to a knee injury I had. She was able to make the change almost immediately without any issues. The place is outdated! It really needs some upgrades. It's pretty much on life-support! The heating control was nearly unmanageable. It didn't get warm enough for us the whole night. It took nearly 15 min for the water to warm up to a temperature comfortable enough to shower. We were in a two bed room, and both bed mattresses were lumpy to the point that it was difficult to get a good night's sleep.
