The Caprice Motel

We have been staying here for years. This year, I was surprised to see that our room and bathroom had been refurbished. The bathroom was totally remodeled. The pool was sparkling clean. The office staff was great. The employees were great, except that we did not like to be woken up every day by the maid knocking; please get do-not-disturb signs. Also, one day a group of people were blaring their music full blast which detracted from my stay. They turned it down but not enough. There were absolutely no racks to hang towels or clothes on which was very inconvenient.

The staff and manager are all very kind and accommodating. You also can not beat the location! Nothing ! It was great !

Location, bed sizes and pool are the main reasons we picked it and all 3 were great. Sand in rooms when we checked in. Doors get stuck n loud to open. Loud music playing after 10pm on a Tuesday night. There was also no hooks to hang clothes in the room or bathroom. There was also no night tables on the side of the bed

The communication with Jenny at the front desk was great! she changed our room 2 days before the concert and added days. She went over and above. The location was perfect. We were blocks from Barefoot Country Concert and we loved having parking!

The location is amazing! Within walking distance to everything we needed. The pool area was nice, relaxing and refreshing. Jenny at the front desk was great and knowledgeable There was nowhere to hang anything in the room and they could use a curved shower rod to keep the curtain out more and give you more room

Ground floor, pool, separation from kids’ bed Door to bedroom did not close, nor the bathroom door. The toilet handle was broken. The shower curtain rod was flimsy and kept falling down. Not much room between fridge and wall to get to bedroom/bathroom. Smoking neighbors on both sides (accommodations were attempted, but there were too many smokers). Most of the beach was blocked off due to setup for a large festival.

Love this location! We have stayed here for the past 3-4yrs whenever we go to the shore. Good sized rooms and the bathroom was very spacious. The pool is great - small gated section for babies/toddlers and a bigger section for older kids and adults. Location is barely a 5 minute walk to the boardwalk and the lady at the desk was super friendly and helpful. Staff including cleaning service was very helpful and quick when we needed things. They are renovating the rooms - the new bathrooms are gorgeous!!! The internet is horrible. IF you can connect to it you won’t notice; my kids brought their tablets as we expected rain and they weren’t able to play online games (lingo kids, pbs kids games) or stream Disney there. The floor and blankets were filthy - the blankets smelled musty (we smelled them the moment we sat on the beds

The manager and staff are the best! And the location is perfect! Having to leave!

Amazing lady at the front desk

The staff were friendly and accommodating. It was within walking distance to the convention center and beach. Being on the ground floor next to the pool. I could hear everything. The blinds didn't close properly. I had to prop the chair against it to close.

The location,the beds were comfy and the staff was nice check in was simple and easy. There was no night stands and the back bed room had the only ac so the bedroom door had to stay open.

The room number 109 was very clean and well furnished with a fridge, microwave, alarm clock , and hair dryer. The beach and boardwalk was fantastic. the beach was clean and expansive. Had a fantastic stay. All the staff at the motel were very professional and very kind and helpful. they went out-of-their way to make a fantastic experience for me and most importanat for my spouse. Highly recommend the Caprice.

Property was nice. Not far off the boardwalk. Rooms need to be updated slightly. Rickety table. Broken bathroom door. Hot tub should really be removed if it’s not in working condition.
