As always the management was very helpful and kind.

Basic accomodations across from the beach. Great location. Clean room with dated decor and bathroom. The problem we faced was that there was a setting on the tv that restricted 80% of the channels. This included Fox 29, and PBS. It was not an issue of the channels not being subscribed to as the basic cable channels were restricted. We could not fix it and the maintenance person was going to be sent but he never came by.

This hotel was horrible! Never even cleaned the room then gave us another room and it wasn’t very kept up. The online pics look way different. They wouldn’t refund my money after they know they were wrong. Ended up leaving and finding another hotel.

We stayed at Rusmar several years ago, but this time in June 2026 was a disaster. Even though we were asked to give a good review when we checked out, we just cannot. A pamper in a drawer in the bedroom with dog food in it is unacceptable. Door wouldn't lock. Had to wait for maintenance to change the lock and then my husband had to help him. Pictures showed a 10-12 cup coffee pot - well it was a single serve. AC in the 2nd bedroom didn't work. TV remote for 2nd bedroom didn't work and we got no replacement that did work. There were hair balls on the floor and hair in the shower. Mold on the bathroom floor. 3 towels for a room booked for five (5) people and No washclothes or hand towels. Had to specifically ask for them, but they should have been there on check in. Small portable Ice machine in the office - never had ice. Paid top price for that two bedroom, one bath on the 1st floor because it was the Barefoot County Music Festival. Had no choice but to stay, but it was a very uncomfortable stay. Hotel needs a tremendous renovation. It's a shame they rent that in that condition. Never again for us and people you've been warned.

Proximity to the boardwalk Where do i start! The moment we arrived, we discovered poop smears on the bathroom floor, near the toilet, as well as someone's pubic hairs in the bathtub. The single chair in the room was broken and caused me to fall on the hard floor. The television had only 3 working channels in english. There was an old cigarette under the bed. The outdoor shower was surrounded by trash cans. There were several dirty plates in the cabinet that had old food on them. The bathroom light kept turning on and off by itself. The kitchen and bathroom sinks faucets sprayed water everywhere. We payed for parking during our stay but they gave out too many parking passes to guests, than there were spots available. This caused us to have to find and pay for expensive parking elsewhere. The bathtub faucet and wifi also didn't work and the smoke detector in the room was removed. Because we arrived a day late, we had to pay an extra $1000 to keep our room. Overall this was an absolute disaster. We will never be staying at this far overpriced, unsanitary establishment again! It was a total waste of $2500 for 3 nights and expect a refund or compensation of some sort.

Very easy stay and was accommodating with Parking, which is a huge issue in Wildwood. That peace of mind helped.

This property was the cheapest I could find. I block to beach was great. AC was questionable but ok. Was clean. Frig didn’t work. Glad it was only 2 nights but would do in a pinch

The lady working the front office was unprofessional, called to tell us we had to get our stuff and leave because checkout was at 10, but we had booked another night, then denied us a refund for the extra night we booked even though she had just tried telling us we had to leave. The prices were higher than average for a weekday especially for a hotel during the week and I thought that the high price was just because the hotel allows dogs, but we had to pay an additional 35 dollars in cash a night for our dog. The surrounding area does not have any grass or any area that seems dog friendly so our dog was not happy. The hotel is also much farther than many of the stores on the boardwalk, which again the pricing does not reflect the outdated hotel room, the fact that the hotel does not have a pool and is not close to any stores on the boardwalk and also the fact that a pet is an additional 35 a night.

No breakfast Rooms was small. Ac was too high in the wall couldnt reach the settings.

Room is small with no phone, No pool on property. service is bad. I needed towels, which i asked for a number of times, It was left on a chair outside my door later in the day. When i left on my last day i forgot my power plug for my computer and I called the office and was told no one is around and they can't go in the room. I asked office manager to knock on the door, and she said it was not there.

When i went to check in, the lady gave me a key for a room and sent me on my way. upon opening the room door, people were already staying in the room for the weekend. i went and told her about it and she got snippy with me claiming “there was nobody in there.” there was also no toilet paper in our room.

We reserved 2 rooms. 1 of the rooms was not cleaned but they were able to give us a different room. The other room was cleaned but had blood stains on the wall.

The pros of Rus Mar is the location, on Ocean near the South end of the boardwalk, away from the crowds but close to the beach. Pet friendly for a fee. Parking. Some rooms offer a kitchenette.

Nothing because it was so filthy. Filthy room, red stain on front door and bathroom door, bathroom door knob hanging off, broken bed, blood stain on sheets, stains on bath towels. Dirt ring in bath tub black dirt stain by sink, floor dirty

It’s a decent location and they allow my little dog to stay. I was able to get a room at the last minute as I wasn’t planning on staying overnight
