Rooms are clean, location is close to everything and staff are helpful, definitely will be back.

Nothing Smell we put a chair under the door bc it didn’t seem to close properly

It was clean. The staff was pleasant. The Air Conditioner was not working it was very hot.

Close to boardwalk. Was clean . Could use updating on furniture, AC units, and locks. People next room over were loud all night yelling and partying.

The motel had a great location, close to prime locations on the boardwalk, beach and local nightlife. Room was everything we needed for a fun weekend at the beach this summer.

We had a great time at the Skylark Motel and the pros outweight the cons by a big margin. -Friendly staff -Clean, decent sized rooms -Enough storage space for 2 -Good size bathroom -Good A/C -Comfortable beds -Great location -Lots of adequate parking space -Outdoor shower with hot water -Clean pool -Enough pots/pans/dishes for 2 (coffee mugs but no glasses) Won't go as far as saying "I didn't like" but some things weren't ideal. No big deals but still worth mentioning. We had a room with a kitchenette. There would be easy fixes to better use the the kitchen space. -Dining table and chairs were way too big for the space it is in. Should downsize a bit, waste of space. -Hangers rack is right above the table and almost above the stove top. I would remove it completely since it's pretty much useless and would just install hooks near the entrance and in the kitchen area. -Utensils were limited to forks, spoons, butter knifes, ladle and can opener. Nothing to clean the dishes. Bring your own stuff.

Very good location, although it was a little old like all the others, they kept it very clean, and mostly everything in working condition. One of the lamps weren’t working and the deadbolt for the room wasn’t working. All you had to lock it beside the door knob was the flimsy chain. Ice machine and washer & dryer was available. They had pool but we never used it. We would stay there again if we ever came back. Very good place for the value . Door deadbolt wasn’t working. Also very limited parking.

It was a nice property. For 2 hours from 7-9am the cleaning staff was above us and it literally sounded like they were doing demolition. I had to go to the office and ask them to please be a little more quiet. They did for about 5 minutes and it continued every day we were there. Parking is horrible.

We’ve stayed here at least two times before and will again.

The Pool is a joke ! It’s very small, plus really no room to sit on furniture along side of the pool. Again tile in rest of the room , also very slippery. The door was difficult to un lock.when leaving the office , there is a step down. No sign warning about the step. I went flying into my car. Lastly, due to the lady at the desk accent , I couldn’t understand her at all. Bottom line , I won’t be back !
