Calypso Boutique Hotel

One thing I specifically want to cal out is the staff. They are EXCELLENT. Before we got there, they called to check in and give us lots of info. During our stay, they were courteous and attentive. When we departed, we accidentally left some clothes behind. The staff there collected them and mailed them back to us the next day. We didn't even have to ask. So shoutout to the staff here, they go above and beyond and we're so grateful. We will definitely be returning to the Calypso!

Did not realize that the pool ,parking and room was across the street. It was not mentioned in the motel ad on Expedia . Studio room was extremely too small. 2nd floor room was extremely noisy with rooftop lounge are above us on second floor . Will not stay at calypso again. It was clean,staff was very friendly but loading and unloading all luggage and room stuff across street to where room is on 2nd floor was too much work. Great location by beach and boardwalk.

Great location with all the necessary amenities and convenient access to the boardwalk. As noted in other reviews, the only area for improvement is the parking, which could be more efficient.

Parking had a lot of spots place was super close to the beach and boardwalk in a great location. services were great definitely would stay here again

The room was perfect the staff was just as perfect I had an issue with my door and they handled it quickly and efficiently would definitely book with this hotel again absolutely!!!

Did not know there wasn’t a pool on the premises. The pictures show pool but it’s actually across the street at other hotel.

The staff was very friendly and it was very close to the beach and boardwalk There was no elevator, so thankful it was only two floors. The room was clean, except the floor. I wiped it up with wet wipes and they were very dirty, as if it hadn't been cleaned in quite a while. The building is old and needs some upkeep.

Clean towels every day. Floors were dirty,, our feet were black , from walking on them. We should have been told ahead of time that there was no elevator. Could hardly open door to get in the room because the couch was in the way. The fire alarm was beeping all nightlong every2 minutes. The toilet ran all the time. If we wanted to cook there were no pot holders, no sharp knives , no cooking utensils , nothing. The place was the pits. Read above, I put it all

Room was clean and all appliances and utilities worked great. Shower was hot and water *NSYNC and tub drained very good, a problem we find in lots of hotels. I have nothing bad to say about our stay at this hotel. Thank you.

Only negatives were parking and the pool was in another hotel across the street. Overall 4 stars.

I loved the location, the simplicity of the room and the cleanliness We had the last room on the 1st floor and the traffic back and forth at night going in and out the building was somewhat a little annoying but nothing to where I couldn’t sleep. Overall it was great!

Iifting when I sat on it no rig in the bathroom to dry your feet.
