Riviera Resorts & Suites

On several occasions, there was no hot water, which made taking a shower frustrating. The air conditioning was very weak. Even after adjusting the settings, the room remained very hot, and I had to buy a fan just to make it comfortable enough to sleep. One of the reasons I always choose hotels with a pool is so my daughter can enjoy it. However, the pool closed at 8:00 PM, while most other hotels I’ve stayed at keep their pools open until 10:00 PM, so she had much less time to enjoy the pool. On the positive side, the gentleman who takes care of the pool was very polite and friendly, and the lady who cleaned our room was also kind and did an excellent job. Overall, I was disappointed with my stay and would not choose this hotel again.

Staff was wonderful from check in thru checkout, from front desk, housekeeping and maintenance. My husband was very impressed this the resort and Wildwood in general, it was his first visit. We will be back. ❤️

Room was clean and fresh towels daily. Wish we had more shampoo bottles and soap bars. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would revisit. Close to the beach and boardwalk, can’t complain.

Very clean everything within walking distance right on boardwalk could see the rides from our balcony

Don’t like the fact that the bedroom is closed concept with a/c close to bed Internet tv wasn’t working well Bedspread makes room Look very old. My granddaughter of 4yrs old didn’t like it 😊 Other than that very clean , across the street from Boardwalk and beach and restos Overall 6/10

Decent place to stay on budget. Nothing over the top, but clean place to stay. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

The room was ok the hot tub is not a hot tub its a 3 ft. Pool pretty much and colder then the actual pool was

The size of our room was perfect! Its hard to find an affordable place to accommodate our family comfortably and the Riviera did not disappoint! The room was very clean, bathroom was spacious, and the bedrooms were a nice size. The beds were comfortable and the room ACs were perfect. We will definitely book this specific room everytime we go if its available. We stay at the riviera every year and its nice that the staff remembers us and makes us feel like family! The housekeeper came around offering us towels and emptied our trash. Also asked if we needed the room cleaned. Which was nice There wasn't really anything that we didnt like. The resort itself and staff was great. Its other people who can't control their children or their own behavior that put a damper on things.

Very convenient and close to the boardwalk, jacuzzi tub in the room, staff offered clean towels when we walked by them cleaning another room. Pool area was crowded with kids and we couldn’t enjoy our time in the pool. They advertise a hot tub/jacuzzi but there were no jets on and the water temperature was the same as the pool and we couldn’t get into the hot tub due to all the kids playing in it and jumping from it to the pool. The people staying in the room above us were extremely loud and heavy footed and it sounded they kept moving furniture above us which woke us up.

I love how close it is to the boardwalk! It was so easy to walk over every day and really close for getting coffee. The pool was also great and relaxing. We also enjoyed the many ice machines they have on property for filling up cups or coolers with ice. The staff was super friendly! Would absolutely stay here again!

Santiago the Maintenance guy at the Riviera was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! On a few different occasions I saw this man showing so much passion towards keeping the Riviera & Property around the Building in as close to perfect condition as possible. Because of his drive to take care of the property I originally thought Santiago was the owner of the property!!!!!! After watching this man throughly sweep every walking path for tenants & make sure every piece of sand was off of the ground & sidewalks around the property. I then watched this man get down onto the Sidewalk in front of the property where I saw teenagers spill beer & puke the night before. This man scrubbed the sidewalk till there was no evidence that anything had ever happened there the night before & the sidewalk was no longer sticky from the spilt beer. After watching all of this, I had to know who this man was & he informed me that he just works there doing Custodial & Maintenance work!!!! This Man NEEDS a raise for his level of passion towards taking care of the entire property & making sure the building always Keeps its Curb Appeal for those around the Building that may want a very nice place to stay that actually cares about the people & Property around the building. Santiago will be my reason to come back to the Riviera next year for the BCMF concert.

Staff where really ignorant walked in the room while me and my me and my girl were doing things, I was trying to put clothes on, and they just opened the door. He stole it back from me of clothes. Staff

Clean, quiet, and family friendly. Friendly staff. Right across the street from the boardwalk, and within walking distance to family dollar and other good restaurants. Hot tub wasn’t hot except for one day it was warm, but it was also hot out when we stayed so it wasn’t really necessary.

The room was extremely clean. I was actually blown away by how clean it was. I didn't find even a smudge on the mirrors. Room size was about what we.expected. The bed was decent albeit a bit on the firm side. I can't really judge this because some people require firm beds whereas my bed at home is extremely soft. That being said, I slept very well on it. The air conditioing unit was also perfect. I found it quite easy to operate and kept the room temp exactly how we wanted it. Also, the.wifi was amazing. Had no trouble connecting and we had full bars the whole time..Then again, it was off season so it was probably less people using it. I loved that we had a grill on site. Not only was it highly efficient, all the tools I needed were right there! I didn't even need to use own my scraper or spatula. I was able to grill my burgers quickly without issue and had an easy cleanup to follow. The swimming pool without a doubt was the biggest thing that blew me away. Because I knew the outside temp would not get higher than 76° on our trip, I actually didn't think swimming would be a comfortable option. That being said, when I dipped my toes in, my jaw dropped. It was like bath water. I couldn't believe it. It was significantly warmer than I expected. Thus, we were able to have a very pleasant swim on the 2nd day. Also, the pool and the surrounding area was very clean as well. The water pressure in the shower was unfortunately not the best. I found it very weak and somewhat limp. Not sure if this is the same for all the rooms, but it was definitely an issue in ours. Also, while I liked the size of our fridge, I hated the fact that it didn't have a freezer. Keeo that in mind if you decide to come here: Do not bring foods that need to frozen! Not a huge deal, but I also didn't like that there were no "Do Not Disturb" tags for the room. I just had to tell the office to not send any cleaning people the following morning. Other than that, not much else to complain about.

The room was clean, staff was kind. We were the only guest at the time our first night since it was still the off season. Someone in the office texted me earlier in the day letting me know they would not be in the office when I arrived due to an appointment but let me know they put my parking pass and key in the room for when we got there. The staff was friendly. The steam shower function did not work and the hot water was not as hot as expected considering there was no one else in the complex. The stopper for the tub was not sealing tight.
