There are, however, a few small improvements that could make the guest experience even better. The breakfast hours were quite limited, especially for families with children. Breakfast ended at 9:00 a.m. on weekdays and 9:30 a.m. on weekends, which felt early compared with many other hotels where breakfast is typically available until 10:00 a.m. on weekdays and 11:00 a.m. on weekends. Extending the breakfast hours would be greatly appreciated. We also noticed that a small piece on top of the shower faucet was missing, exposing the plumbing behind it. It’s a minor issue and likely an easy repair, but it affects the overall impression of the room. Finally, when we first checked into our room, there was no hand soap in the bathroom. We called the front desk, but it took over 30 minutes for the soap to be delivered. This is another small detail that is easy to address and would help create a better first impression for guests. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel. With a few minor improvements, the experience could be even better.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was okay. The rooms were not cleaned very well. They were not exceptionally dirty but there were remnants of the previous hotel guests left in the room that were never cleaned throughout the week of my stay. I bought cleaning wipes and cleaned the room myself. I also had to ask for housekeeping to come and clean the floor the first night due to our shoes sticking to it. The hotel overall was very clean though.

This was the most functional hotel room I've ever seen. Full fridge and freezer. Stove top. Dishwasher. Dishes. Pots and pans. A good TV. A pullout couch bed and a bed. Great bathroom. Overall one of the best hotel rooms I've ever seen.

Staff was WONDERFUL! Attentive and friendly. Offered water upon arrival and departure. Never made you feel rushed or like you were inconveniencing them with questions. Room was spacious and clean. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower. If we were ever in town again we would definitely stay at this location! The only thing we didn’t like was that you had to get ice from the freezer in sandwich bags. They were frozen solid so you had to take them outside and hit them on the cement to get them to break smaller. I would assume this would be more inconvenient in the winter. Why not just have an ice machine?!

Residence Inn by Marriott is perfectly situated for our visits to Chicago to see our grandchildren. The suites are like home since they include a full kitchen and the beds are always comfortable ensuring a great nights sleep. Finally, EVERY time we visit the staff is incredible. Always friendly, helpful and just overall excellent. Everything was wonderful

We didn't eat breakfast so can't comment. Staff was responsible and helpful. Room was clean and our stay lovely despite the extensive road construction leading up to it.

My room was clean so clean that I made sure I cleaned my dishes and cleaned it back up. It was to pretty to leave any mess! Loved my stay💕❤️

The location for the included breakfast was convenient, the decor was fine and the choice of seating was exceptional as the breakfast room was linked with the reception area. I was able to sit and looked out the window while eating my breakfast. Coffee was available beyond the breakfast opening times. Food choices were exceptional, inclusive of all dietary preferences as far as I could see. I also liked the fact that I could choose to use the stairs to go down to the lobby or up to my room. Lastly, I arrived early, 11:30 in the morning, and was able to check into my room. This was a very pleasant surprise. What didn't I like .... I can think of nothing.

Great room. Clean, spacious and quiet. Nice, big shower. Surprisingly quiet for how close it was to the highway. Morning clerk so sweet and housekeeping and most workers very nice and helpful. We had one evening clerk who was just rude. I asked if there was a medium roast coffee and she was very put out by my question . This was the only rude person we had bad interactions with.
