Red Roof Inn Los Angeles - Wilmington, CA

Room was pretty clean everything worked well, parking was kinda tight. No complaints and ROGER IS THE NICEST most helpful person that could work there. Leaving this review just for him he deserves it. Would stay here again.

Firstly I want to say the people running the place were super kind and helpful. Great price for what you get but the one downside is getting in and out of the establishment, since it is located on the 1. And my only complaint is the windows, they did not lock, so you could slide it open from the outside and how thin they were, you could hear everything and everyone right outside it was as if the window was open to just the screen.

WiFi sucks everything else was good

Room was good. Roger was very helpful and accommodating.

Clean property, helpful and kind staff. AC ventilation is not the best since air flow can be blocked by how low it is installed and a bed is inches away from it.

Comfortable Everything was fine

Close enough to the port if you’re leaving for a cruise. Amenities were fairly new. Office staff very nice. There’s a Target and a diner, not too far, if needed. Safe for the area and clean. Maybe an extra trash can in the room. Making sure the shampoo and soap pumps are working in the shower. Extra towel for the bathroom. Water pressure could have been better.

Close to the port Had gnats outside my room but other then that a good stay

I emailed months prior with a question and never got an answer, which was somewhat critical to my plans. Its a small property on PCH, right off the road. Surprisingly was fairly quiet at night although I was next to the washing machine and that was quite noisy for a few hours. A few noisy cars on the road and in the lot. Clean and stylistically like most Red Roof Inns. Polite staff. Bed was pretty hard. I did not sleep well. Could not get the AC at a good setting and was either sweaty or cold, as I could not adjust the direction and was right next to the bed. No breakfast, but coffee and microwave in office. No hair dryer. For a quick stay, it will do fine.

Great spot will definitely stay again.

No breakfast offered Staff doesnt know how to plan ahead to accommodate a family that wants 2 rooms together. Staff became aggressive when questioned. Very proud man unfortunately.

NOTE: Hotels.com said check-in was at 3 p.m. The inn said it was at 4 p.m., so we had to wait longer than expected. This area is a little sketchy, but the inn itself is fine. There's constant street noise, but you can mask it by using the a.c. The parking lot is small--I only mention that because it's possible they run out of spaces if there are a lot of travelers and extra vehicles. The room was neat and clean. They welcome pets.

Clean room and the staff was friendly. Couldn't really ask for much more for just one night.
